ReplyDeleteDrive around off the beaten path in some places up North. Some areas look a lot like Grandview. You know, they were once nice little homes owned by some blue collar worker who took care of his little slice of the American dream. Then, little by little, the black plague started moving in. One or two houses on the block turned into rentals inhabited by the black termite and suddenly the neighborhood starts to turn to shit. The good people move away and more of the black plague moves in. Paint peels, grass dies. Crime goes up and the schools get bad. You know the drill.
ReplyDeleteI live in the Northland. I have some Black neighbors. Some are bad, some are good. I have one very close neighbor who is Black. I would rather have 100 like him in place of some of the Whiggers that have moved in. The Police and the City can or won't do anything about the blatant violations that bring down the neighborhoods. These people kill good areas because they are free to do so. We have legislated ourselves into a corner and most are afraid to take a stand.

ReplyDeletePlatte City and Smithville are in Platte and Clay counties respectively and no Jean Peters Bakers but real prrosecutors. There would be no 120 days bullshit in these two counties for stabbing a bus driver or running over a motorcyclists.

ReplyDeleteYes, the Northland has a lot of older small houses (non-mcmansions) and a lot of older (cheap) apartments. With increase in section 8 some areas are no different than south/east. The busses coming to the Northland probably hurt more than helped.
