SHOCK!!! KANSAS CITY REVS DEFEND STAFF OF SOUTHWEST RAPE CAMPUS!!!

There are a great many people who deserve blame for ongoing decline of Kansas City Public Schools . . . Over the years administrators, teachers, unions, superintendents, consultants and a tragic cast of characters have all done their part to make the KCPS one of this town's greatest embarrassments.

As of late, it seems that local churches also want to get in on the act. To wit . . .

CELEBRATE LOCAL REVS ADVOCATING FOR PRINCIPALS AND TEACHER JOBS RATHER THAN SHOWING MUCH CONCERN ABOUT "SCHOLARS" AND CONSTANT RAPING @ SOUTHWEST!!!

And maybe this is why so many in the surrounding neighborhood are quietly advocating for the (mostly vacant) school to move out of their neighborhood.

Check the links:

Fox4: Church leader has questions about status of staffers at KCPS school under investigation

Newspaper: People from nearby churches are asking that staffers not be made scapegoats.

KSHB: A local pastor is voicing his support for a former Kansas City principal following an alleged rape at his school.

  2. The cops were called to South West over 900 times last year.

    Thanks Ted Kenedy.

  3. You mean leaders of the Catholic Church don't support taking a strong stance against raping children? Shocking!

  4. My apologies. It was an Episcopal church. I wouldn't want to besmirch the fine reputation of the official Catholic Church.

  7. That school must be shut down for the good of the neighborhood. The scholars from there intimidate neighbors near the school and in Brookside and are responsible for numerous robberies.

  9. On your list of those responsible for the decline of the KCPS, I noticed you failed to mention crappy parents and single-parent / fatherless households.

THAT, more than anyone else, is to blame for decline of the schools.

  10. It's Bush's fault.

  11. Who is Elliot Rodger? Is he that new mixed media artist with the co-op gallery space?

  12. WELCOME TO DETROIT

The same black plague that killed Detroit is killing Kansas City.

  13. You missed the BIG ONES... CULTURE and PARENTS.

IT's not about the schools. THey're trying to keep the peace in a war zone. Like trying to civilize Muslims!

Pastors would LIKE to be community leaders... but they aren't. Single parent breadwinners, parental ignorance in parenting, and their culture. Add anything but the schools. They can't civilize their scholars.

Lets deal with the issues rather than keep blaming a school district for fixing something they don't have the power to fix.

As I've said before, you'd have better luck taking them from the effete schoolboard and handling them over to the dept of Corrections.

Let the best scholars transfer to schools where the kids are interested in their futures, and leave the rest of them 24/7 following the yellow line. If they get tired of it, maybe they'll do some career prep.

Just know... most of KC's CRIMINALS were in high school. Schools can't TEACH that out of them. Thats a parental responsibility.

THe ones who know how, MOVE away. Not from the SCHOOLS as much as from the NEIGHBORHOOD ghetto culture.

There's poor people and districts all over the world. It's not poverty. Starts at home with a model family and supervision, and teaching from babyhood.

If you havent' been a parent of successful children, how can you possibly know how to raise successful children?

  14. If you listen to the good reverend Spicer, it appears that the principal of this school repeatedly asked for help from the administration, and the administration failed to respond. The KCMSD is rotting from the top down; until the present administration is dismantled, and the entire district for that matter, nothing will change.

  16. Chuck, is that a real statistic? I know you usually back everything up you say but that is unreal if true. Thanks.

  17. @11:55 Could we please skip the "change the administration" fix? You guys have pulled that crap on us enough times in the past 30 years.

I understand the dismantle and sweep under the rug approach. It is currently working and nobody really cares that most of the charter schools are failing and those that are succeeding have very few actually graduating(numbers, not percentages).

I don't know what we can do when a girl is going to be a look-out for a boy raping a helpless girl. That is the culture...

  18. They should just go the full monte and open a magnet school Military Academy in the district where they can put all the troublemakers
