New York Times Crowd Sourcing Journalism For Upcoming I-35 Immigration Report

NYT online ask for newsie advice regarding local Latinos: "New York Times reporter, Damien Cave, and photographer, Todd Heisler, are traveling the length of I-35, chronicling how immigration and changing demographics are transforming communities along the route.

As he begins this journey, Mr. Cave would like to hear from people who live or work within a two-hour drive of I-35. He invites you to share information about a place that exemplifies immigration today — whether it reveals a melting-pot community or a place that lacks cultural assimilation. Simply put, where should he and Mr. Heisler visit?"

Off the top of my head, TKC would like to suggest Empanada Madness if only because I still need to check out the place as well . . .

  5. Seriously, those tacos are so good. The grease just rolls out of them down your arms. You go over to the stand and mix 1/2 hot sauce with 1/2 medium (I am full blooded Norwegian, that plenty hot for me.) sauce, grab some Jalepenos (They are not THAT hot, and have a great taste.) and you are having a Mexican nirvana.

The chips are killer too as is the rest of the chow.
