KCMO AGAINST GMOS!!! COMING SOON!!! KANSAS CITY MARCH AGAINST MONSANTO!!!

Once again Kansas City activists are gathering to protest GMOs and other fake foods pushed by a corporate juggernaut Monsanto.

To wit . . .

THANKS TO KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS FOR A SHOUT-OUT AND DEETS REGARDING THE UPCOMING 2ND ANNUAL MARCH AGAINST MONSANTO ON THE THE PLAZA!!!

Already activists seem fired up and this protest note offers a bit of insight into why they're taking issue with the mega-agri-biz as part of A GLOBAL EFFORT to protect the food supply . . .

FB EVENT FOR 1:00 IN THE PM

Saturday, May 24th we'll be storming the streets of Kansas City once again!! Our collective voice is growing stronger and getting louder. People are being educated of the danger they're facing and Monsanto is being EXPOSED!! It's working...people are waking up...let's keep fighting and bring this corporate giant down!! Together we can let Monsanto know they can NOT control the world food supply and we will NOT stand for cronyism!!

This event page will be the most up-to-date source for information regarding Kansas City, Missouri's March Against Monsanto. If you have any questions you can post them or shoot me a message and I'll get back asap. Thanks for everything each of you do, the time, the volunteer hours, the outreach and education, and your strength and solidarity. ♥

*UPDATE* We have Mill Creek park from 12:00pm-2:00pm. We march at 1:00. I'm still looking for one or two speakers for the event.

Alert PD. Put the retailers on lock-down. Those pesky anti-geneticists are on the move, and soon will be rioting at one of KC's gems.

These people should be going after the politicians and their so called representatives who are bought and paid for by Monsanto.

The White House would be the place for a mass protest. Ask Obama why the bankers continue to run loose with impunity also while they are at it.

No no no Obama like Sly can do no harm!

They have ethics!

GM is necessary to keep up with and supply ingredients for America's addiction to beer and junk food products.

LET ME GUESS....this is a Toni Bones posting for her latest protest du jour.

Anti-GMO protesters in KCMO's Mill Creek Park are like Anti-Meat protesters on the Plaza......they're both comprised primarily of young white hypocrites who aren't so much protesting as they're desperately searching for a way to draw social attention to themselves in a quest to find relevance in their lives.

Monsanto's (MON) stock price has doubled in the past 4 years.

I'll bet that everyone who shows at the protest is an end-product consumer of Monsanto seed-based products, whether they realize that or not. Monsanto is headquartered in St. Louis and the Fidelity and Vanguard mutual funds are the largest holders of shares. If the protesters really wanted to make a statement, they'd picket those three sites.

Ain't it a bitch that these crack hoes can't keep from feeding their kids shit and the world is supposed to protest Monsanto? What I would give to find a politician with the balls to introduce legislation with the minimum requirements to be a parent.

Only rich white yuppies deserve to buy artisinal corn. Let the masses starve after we bankrupt monsanto

KC Against GMO... that means Third District is for it said...

Jermaine Reed just rallied and rah-rah'ed his way through a ribbon cutting at 39th Prospect for an Aldi "grocery store". Every Black band wagon supporter got on that bandwagon to deliver gmo-enriched food to every other Black resident in that area. Third District loves this type of leadership and will fight tooth and all the Revs will shout racism when we can't deliver more inadequate food to the masses. Gotta love these buffoons. Bring on the incurable, mutant cancers. City needs more real estate to develop.
