  3. The Kaufman Foundation and Bank Of America ran a pig fucker gala over at Union Station last night. A celebrating suck fest of child molesters, Klansman, white collar criminals and flunkies in the order of American Renaissance wallowing for free Kansas City tax money. Kaufman Foundation can count on their front man George Guillio slurping another two decades of service to the misanthropic white collar klan/criminal class we come to loath as The Kaufman Syndicate Mob.

  6. Bill Black gets way more press than an urban local university assistant professor deserves. He's not really tenured, is he?

Hinterland people are so parochial, thinking their local university professor types are actually experts and deserve to be interviewed on the NEWS about national events. It's a media scam.

This ain't Columbia in NY or George Washington University.

UMKC, KU, KState, MU are in the sticks...and their faculty is no more connected to the real world than the rest of us who have high speed internet!

But universities are in the business of selling their faculty expertise to keep their enrollments up. Their industry is COLLEGE EDUCATIONS, one HS grad at a time. It's an industry needing paying customers.

Want a premiere education to flag you before every HR director? Go back east. Can you get into Boston's MIT or Cal-Tech? Can you afford it, even WITH your SAT scores?

UMKC is a townie school for kids who need to live and learn at home here in KC--not much better than the local Metropolitan Colleges or KU OP campus in Kansas.

Every big city has one or two--and they turn out thinking graduates but ONLY if they apply themselves to the work. The rest just have the letters on their Resume that might get them a job interview if not a second interview. That's when they make you prove your actual knowledge and thinking skills beyond your resume.

Local universities on your resume work if you apply for jobs in KC, but nobody outside ever heard of UMKC. Or Univ of Cleveland. Or Wichita, or Rockhurst. etc.

In short, it's a city college. NYU or Pace is for New York. SLU for St. Louis. Washburn for Topeka. And so many more everywhere else.

It's college for B-C students or higher, who can't afford to go out of town for a prestigious school known nationwide for their specialty.

That's okay, but lets not blow smoke up everybody's ass about their academic achievement!

Nobody from the networks will call faculty here for our expertise unless they say something really brilliant, or stupid or entertaining.

(I learned this as a TV reporter when my bosses asked me to go find a local townee university talking head to comment on some national event--to give us locals a piece of the big network story of the day. What I got from them was a repeat of what network pundits had said, hours earlier on cable! Exhale.)

Have you ever noticed this? People going on TV parroting today's contemporary thinking?

I swear, all politicians get a daily memo from their party headquarters on what to say if asked...about any newsbreaking issue! Have you noticed all their facebook pages say the same things within an hour or two? I see it among both Ks and MO Senators and Reps. Within hours!

If you watch the pundits on MSNBC and FOX, you can predict both positions from their inhouse experts!

If you know The Tea Party, they will highlight the most anti-Obama viewpoint on the air that day. Count on it for each is predictable.

What does that tell you about what you read?

To me, it tells you to realize that each side is propagandizing and you should NOT accept any of their views. Just take em in, file em away, and keep reading.

ONLY WHEN FINISHED, draw a conclusion if you CAN. If you can't, just sit tight and wait for the story to unfold further. In other words, BITE YOU TONGUE until you're sure!

  7. Black is frequently on national news shows including PBS. Obviously some local yokels are jealous of his success.
