Kansas City Sniper Suspect Mohammed Pedro Whitaker In Court Today
Follow-up today on a case that fell of the Kansas City media radar rather quickly . . .
Fox4: The man accused of firing a gun at nine vehicles on Kansas City-area highways in March and April faced a judge Thursday afternoon.
KSHB: KSHB: His father Edward Whitaker plans to travel from Illinois to see his son. He said he's still shocked by the charges.
KMBC: Whitaker entered the courtroom wearing a blue shirt and suit coat and khaki pants. He was silent as the judge bound his case over for arraignment May 19.
For now he is being represented by a public defender . . . So Kansas City newsies aren't holding out hope for a legal drama . . .
