ReplyDeleteWe'll see with the streetcar. If it remains only a quaint little track that runs from union station to the river market then it won't be used much. If it is the starter line to a metro rail hub at that 3rd street station that is to be built over the next 30 years then it will be money well spent.
ReplyDeleteAs a Republican I am completely at a loss as to what the hell the Missouri legislature is actually doing for the citizens of this state. The tax break sounds like a nice gesture, but what the hell are these Republicans doing to restore the rights of citizens and property owners who are being screwed out of their rights by the God Damn power hungry, regulation writing, bureaucrats in this state? The bullshit is out of control.

ReplyDeleteThe strategy is simple. Keep the public at large occupied with local and state issues while billionaires work towards keeping the white house blue and Congress as red as possible ensuring another 8 years of a do nothing Congress coupled with a nearly lame president.
Or, something along those lines.
99% remain stagnant.
1% continue thriving.
