ReplyDeleteThe problem is that when you let the bangers kill each other by not doing much to roll them up and change the neighborhoods they operate in, good people and even little kids get hurt or worse too.
ReplyDeleteAnd reasoning with the thugs and hoping that an $8/hr warehouse job in Lenexa is going to be enough to make them change is the fantasy that all the millions spent on Aim4Peace, NoVa, and all the other ineffectual nonprofit efforts are based on.
With just a 55% murder clearance rate in KCMO, they actually can (and do) get away with murder.
