KANSAS CITY GAS STATION KILLING DOX REVEAL: IT WAS PERSONAL!!!
Interesting note on a shooting that shocked Kansas City and led to a serious injury of a 10-year-old kid . . .
Link between suspected gunman, victim may uncover gas station shooting motive
Here's the most important part . . .
"Court documents uncovered by FOX 4 News show that in 2004, Jefferson pleaded guilty to robbery and armed criminal action, and Ka’Vyea Curry is the one who led police to him.
"Police say Curry, who at the time went by the name Charles Washington, told police he bought stolen car rims from “a guy named Dontae”, which led police to the suspect. He confessed to stealing a car at gunpoint and spent almost 10 years in prison.
Ka’Vyea Tyson’s grandfather said from the way the suspect was seen on surveillance cameras walking up to the car and shooting into it, he knew it was personal."''
Read the whole story . . . But I think the aftermath of this one should remind us that personal vendettas are a fact of life in Kansas City and it's doubtful that the guy would have ever been caught if he hadn't hit a kid while (allegedly) seeking his revenge.
