Kansas City Association of Black Journalists posts this want ad so that all of the cranky Internets denizens can go compete in a dying medium that publishes days later than the Internets: "The Kansas City Star seeks an experienced and motivated investigative reporter to join the newspaper’s enterprise and projects team. We’re looking for someone who knows how to ferret out wrongdoing and hold people in power accountable. Top-rate news judgment is a must. Likewise, this reporter will be a self-starter who has excellent skills researching diverse topics, developing sources and writing with authority and flair."

ReplyDeleteNO!!!
ReplyDeleteQuoting from the Star want ad: "Must be willing to work under clueless corporate hacks for less pay and fewer benefits than the many reporters and editors we have laid off in the last few yeas."
ReplyDeleteEnterprise and projects team. Is that Helling's team that sucks up to Sly and Sanders and writes puff pieces them.
ReplyDeleteYes KC star is seeking a snot nosed 25 year old that will work for 30K a year.
ReplyDeleteThe newspaper is Toxic.
ReplyDeleteThe Star is mostly a cheerleader for wrongdoing. They would only want someone to write about wrongdoing by those they disagree with.
ReplyDeleteHere's the money line:
ReplyDelete"Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment."
"Fast-paced" as in fast dinosaur!
