Kansas City Chiefs Select Disappointing And Discount Dee Ford In 1st Round NFL Draft

Kansas City Chiefs Select Disappointing And Discount Dee Ford In The 1st Round NFL Draft

Once again the Kansas City Chiefs choose the least expensive option during the NFL draft.

Given the lack of an NFL caliber QB and a weak secondary this choice from the front office reminds us that they're mostly concerned about bottom line rather than chasing playoff victory.

LGBT advocates might also be disappointed that Michael Sam didn't get a serious look . . .

Here's a bit of coverage.

Arrohead Pride: NFL Draft results: Dee Ford to Kansas City Chiefs with No. 23 pick

SI: Are the Chiefs beginning to prepare for life after Tamba Hali? The 2006 draft pick will turn 31 during the 2014 season and missed time last year due to injury issues. Whether that’s the plan or not, the Chiefs will have to figure out exactly what to do with Ford in 2014.

We'll focus on even more Kansas City bad decisions for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!

Great. Another year of worthless Bowe clowning around dropping routine balls.

I understand the linebacker selection but it seems like they could have got somebody who didn't already have chronic back problems.

Figured with all that defensive meltdown in the playoffs, KC would get some secondary help for Berry in the backfield

anybody but Mr. Sam

Expensive or cheap has nothing to do with it. under the new agreement the rookie players are paid by where they are drafted for their first contract.
