It's not quite the The Thomas Crown Affair but this KCTV5 sweeps story reminds us that suburbanites shouldn't be trusted.
Check it:
A Lee's Summit woman says she took her expensive necklace to a jewelry store to have the chain repair and instead wound up with a $50 piece of junk. The store denies the claim.
The story would be more fun if it was a pearl necklace and/or I cared about anything a lady says involving jewelry.
More in a bit . . .
Scam!
