CLAY CHASTAIN STAYS WINNING!!!

They're calling this one a "minor victory" but Kansas City transit activist Clay Chastain has been fighting City Hall for the the citizen initiative process for years.

Check it:

KC Biz Journal: Clay Chastain's light rail plan survived and advanced on Monday, as the Jackson County Circuit Court denied a request for a summary judgment against the self-styled Kansas City community activist.

  2. With the TDD going down in a sea of no votes looks like this will be the only rail on this years ballot.

  5. It's always amazing to watch what just a couple people can do to affect KCMO government while the vast majority of residents sit on their butts and either don't vote at all or get tricked time after time.
Streetcar, airport terminal, translational medical tax.
KCMO residents whould elect some people like these folks instead of the airheads and butt-kissers that roam the halls at 12th and Oak.

  6. Amazing that the local press can witness what has happened with Chastain's efforts and refuse to get off their asses and tell the whole story of how the city has been trying to bury him for years. Damn, if we ever get some real journalists in this town it will be earth shaking.

  7. I'd vote for Clay over Sly any day of the week.
