Billionaire Blasts 'Idiot' Top Politico Over Recent Missouri Tax Cut Bill Veto: Show-Me Rex Sinquefield Vs. Gov. Jay Nixon!!!

Today Missouri is learning an important lesson regarding politics and finance amid a slapfight betwixt two powerful white guys.

The REAL Golden Rule: Those With The Gold Make The Rules."

And here's today's talking point for every Democratic Party, liberal in the Midwest . . .

KFVS12: "One of Missouri's most prominent political activists has called Gov. Jay Nixon an "idiot" for vetoing an income tax cut. Rex Sinquefield twice repeated the label while speaking Thursday at a forum hosted by the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C."

Columbia Daily Tribune: Sinquefield is a retired investment firm executive who has poured millions of his own dollars into Missouri politics. One of his top quests has been to cut or eliminate Missouri's income tax.

STL Post-Dispatch: "Sinquefield repeatedly compared Nixon unfavorably to Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback, a Republican, who has championed deep tax cuts in that state."

Springfield News Leader Direct Quote: "That idiot vetoed an income tax cut — the one thing that is known to work to help establish growth" in the economy...

And while we're looking for video of Mr. Sinqiuefield's comments . . . Right now we imagine it sounded something like this . . . Update: Here's the clip @ minute 47 and then continues till about 54 minutes in . . .

More in a bit . . .

  6. Missouri's top rate was just 6%. Six. You tithe almost double that. Six percent since 1921. 6% during the depression. WWII, Korean war, Vietnam, six percent when Kit Bond was governor. Just 6%.
But no, you stupid greedy republicans just couldn't stand to pay your six percent. Why should you have to pay just 6% to pay for negro's to be educated? Or wetbacks.
Greedy POS's. Stupid republicans. Each and every one of them will burn in hell!
    Worthless republicans. Worthless.

  9. 3:12 Missouri's top rate has been 6% but that rate was phased in up to $9,000 taxable. At one time most people made less than 9k so they didn't pay nearly as high a percentage. Also at one time all federal taxes were deductible instead of the 10k limit. That change effectively raised the MO income tax for the wealthy by 25%. The fact is MO has effectively raised taxes every year for at least 40 years without a vote. Even with the top rate decrease inflation is raising taxes in other ways each year.

  12. 4:47, CONSUMERS create jobs by buying products you dumbass, just because a business owner gets to keep more money does not mean they will hire more people unless the demand for their product increases, if they did they would not be business owners very long.

  13. @6:29 If consumers have more or their own money, they will spend more. Thus creating the demand.
