AFTERMATH: KANSAS CITY TEEN GIRL FIGHT CLUB ON THE COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA LAST NIGHT AND WESTPORT CRACKDOWN TOO!!!
Kansas City was anything but lady like last night . . .
We talked about more fighting on the Plaza last night and a bit more racial animosity then what was reported in mainstream media.
Here's the Fox4 report that confirms a lot the deets . . . Police: Teen girls detained after alleged assaults on the Plaza
More than anything, multiple reports from the scene last night reveal the public noticing the crackdown.
To wit, we have to ask . . .
DOES THE KANSAS CITY TEEN GIRL FIGHT CLUB ON THE PLAZA EVEN DURING A RELATIVELY CLAM NIGHT REVEAL THAT MIDTOWN KANSAS CITY ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICTS ARE A LOST CAUSE?!?!
Seriously, hanging out among racial, religious and class-conscious tension just doesn't seem like a good time. And everybody knows that P&L District is just kinda lame.
Even better . . .
HERE'S A 1ST PERSON LOOK AT THE PLAZA LAST NIGHT FROM ONE OF OUR MOST KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS!!!
The word . . .
"I went to the plaza most weekends last spring and summer as well as a few weekends so far this spring. During the many hours I have spent there, I have not had any problems with any Black people at the Plaza. But then, I did not demand that any human being of any race look me in the eye or not look me in the eye or smile at me or stop smiling at me or talk in my direction or not talk in my direction or any of the other bizarre and contradictory demands TKC readers think they have the right to make of what they refer to as Black people.
That aside, we got to the Plaza early tonight and caught three wedding groups as they were leaving the horse fountain. The Krishnas were out making me hungry for Indian food and things were mostly quiet and pleasant so we headed over to Westport where some Jesus guy was yelling into a megaphone about everyone going to hell. He was white, and you couldn't dance to his beats so the cops let him rant as long and as loud as he wanted. Westport security is clamping down on the traffic flow a bit though in response to last weekend's shooting and they are blocking off some access routes so they can keep a better watch over people leaving the area."
