TKC FACT CHECK: DALLAS CONNECTIONS STAY WINNING OVER KANSAS CITY HYPE FOR GOP CONVENTION 2016!!!

Quick insight about Kansas City's fading GOP Convention 2016 chances . .

GOP convention in Dallas would hit home for 5 possible nominees

Here's the most important deet:

"It turns out that a whopping five potential GOP nominees have strong Texas ties: Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Rick Perry, Rand Paul or Rick Santorum . . .

That means it’s not too early to consider which of the contenders has the most to gain if Republicans pick Dallas to host their 2016 convention."

Moreover . . . Dallas makes a lot more sense than Kansas City or Las Vegas . . . Dallas hits the Middle-American demographic without putting the GOP in po'dunk territory and captures just a bit of glitz without all of the nastiness associated with Sin City.

And like it or not, Dallas is simply bigger, better and more professional than Kansas City Proper . . . Also, and it's a tragic fact . . . Some say their BBQ is better. Like it or not.

More in a bit . . .

  1. The only thing wrong with Kansas City is the current crew in charge has completely tarnished our reputation. If not outright totally destroyed it. From that stupid new cattle brand logo and all the other lies and bullshit people are fed daily on the city's twitter set up.

  2. Yeah, I even think Dallas is a way better choice. Although I would love to see it come here, KCMO is pretty much not in touch with the GOP in any way. Rapes in the walls of one of their schools. Plaza issues, we have that shooter on the lose, the mayor clearly a big Obama fan, and the list can go on and on.

Not to say Dallas doesnt have their own sets of problems, but they could host a much larger crowd. The Dallas Arts District is also among the top if not THE top urban arts district in the nation.

  3. 2 Major reasons GOP 16 will favor Dallas over Kansas City. I am just going to hit the BIG 2...there are many more than just these.

    1. Clark Hunt only take money OUT of Kansas City. So he supports Dallas GOP 16. The Hunt's don't believe in putting money BACK INTO Kansas City. Ever.

    2. More MEXICANS in Dallas. It's easier to wade across the border and get up 35 to Dallas. The Metroplex has that burnt taco smell so the beaners usually stay close.

I didn't mention hookers, strippers, transexuals, homosexuals, animal freaks, super freaks or comedy clubs. Dallas has all those in abundance. KC is lacking in all. Plus less negro crime in the Metroplex. Killa City has a sniper now and GOP 16'ers are afraid of hoddie snipers.

  5. Tony will nail and impregnate Jordan Carver before the GOP convention comes to Kansas City.

  6. Owner of the Las Vegas Sands Hotel, Sheldon Addelson, has made it clear that he will give $100 million to the dems if the reps don't host their sideshow in Vegas.

  7. Dallas is building a streetcar so that should give them an advantage

  8. Shockingly, many many people in the real world or who have visited places outside Kansas City see the advantage if having good, modern, effective transit, especially fixed rail transit.

Guess they should talk to the over 60 set in Brookside and get an education on how things really work from retirees and empty nest grandmas (whose kids all moved to Portland and Denver and Minneapolis and other places with real neighborhood and transit acces ad walkability).

Sorry, naysayers, good transit is the "lots of parking" and "good highway access" of the next 50 years.

Get used to it, or become Des Moines.

  9. 5:09 why don't you move to Portland or Seattle or Minneapolis? Those places are so great and the young people are moving there, so why don't you? Can't get a job there? Can't hack it outside the anonymous comment boards and r/kansascity?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I don't want to.

Why don't you move somewhere like Topeka or Peoria? They have all the things you think are the most important things ever, and you wouldn't have to worry about growth or change or young people or anything becoming too citified.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Downtown KCMO has very little chance of becoming "citified" in any current adult's lifetime.
It's a small town mid-west version of an "urban environment", pretty much devoid of activity, people, and other elements that make up the energy of most actual cities.
If the KC metro is ever going to become a serious player in the national, much less the world economic scene, working toward much greater collaboration among the two states, seven counties, 115 cities, and all their strengths is infinitely more important than what toys are built at public expense in the taxpayer-subsidized amusement park of downtown KCMO.
All the local fluff and hype can't hide the amateurishness of the whole kiddie corps affair.
And the sults will have to pick up the tab....for decades.

  12. Yeah, but Dallas doesn't have a highway shooter like KCMO does...

  13. From the shit going on in Killa City, Topeka or Peoria doesn't sound like a bad place to live.

  14. With five candidates who can stomp old prune juice Hilerybillery's ass the Republicans don't even need to have a convention.

  15. 7:15 nailed it.
