TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! CHECK THE HICKMAN MILLS SCHOOL BOARD VOTE HIT PIECE!!!

The fight for control of the Hickman Mills School District is probably the biggest test of local Democracy in the Greater Kansas City area on the horizon.

However . . .

IT SEEMS LIKE THIS ELECTION HAS BEEN MOSTLY ABOUT POLITICAL POSTURING WITH VERY LITTLE DISCUSSION OF ISSUES THAT IMPACT STUDENTS!!!

As usual, there's a lot of hateration directed toward Freedom, Inc. but it's worth noting that going extremely negative doesn't necessarily provide the big campaign boost that most would expect . . . Moreover, the battle against Freedom, Inc. has inadvertently given the PAC a higher profile, touted their influence and offered more recognition of the candidates they endorse . . . Political messaging is tricky and very often insiders forget that not every voter is paying close attention.

To wit . . .

AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS PROVIDE THIS FIRST LOOK AT THE CONTROVERSIAL HICKMAN MILLS SCHOOL BOARD VOTE MAILINGS THAT DEAD TREE MEDIA DIDN'T SHOW!!!

Here it is:

Mailer front cover

Mailer deets

Once again for the cheap seats . . . Focusing so much attention on Freedom, Inc. has the potential to confuse voters and risks valuable messaging that could promote an opposing candidate . . .

UPDATE: While some have said this mailer is "illegal" it's woth noting that it doesn't make a specific call to action and therefore, ACCORDING TO AWESOME KC INSIDERS, falls within the bounds of Free Speech.

However . . . This Hickman Mills School Board election has become nothing less than a battle against Freedom, Inc. with not a lot of time devoted to ideas about improving the quality of education out in the Kansas City area Southland.

  7. Hell yes, this is the black way for school boards. Run the district into the ground and turn it into your own personal fiefdom. You will keep getting re-elected not based on your qualifications or ability to do your job but because you are black and that alone. Black people always figure out the best way to screw themselves and in turn, everybody else too.

  8. It appears the allegations are true. Check the case numbers. Mims was sued for not paying her debts and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor. Her wages were garnished. It's public record. The public case records also indicate that the state paid over $5000 to support Palmer's child. Let's focus on the facts. A judgment was entered against hm and he was ordered to pay it back to the state.

After 50 years and $ trillions flushed on trying to teach a duck to whistle, the media and government are now redefining the word ‘whistle’. Despite the pipeline of infinite resources the black race will never be civilized, as we know it. Sure they can dial a phone or punch a keyboard, but ask them to design anything or manage anything and you get coat-hanger carburetors and bankrupt Liberia. We know it. They know it. So what is the next phase in the ‘greatest shakedown in the history of the world’? Since the duck will never whistle, just call a quack a whistle. Simply change the definition of civilization. That validates all of the wasted money AND, more importantly, continues the flow. So now, instead of noun, proper verb tense, and grammar, the ‘new’ and accepted English sentence anatomy is filled with ‘MFs’, double negatives, and supplemented with body language. The new dress standards include tats, gold teeth, side-ways hats and loose fitting pants. Small head, tiny ears, flat nose, beady eyes, thick lips and black skin is now the run way model’s definition of attractive. Media and the cultural police say it is now the standard, so it must be. Violence against non blacks by blacks is now acceptable in the new standards. Music standards are now jungle beats, crotch grabbing misogynistic lyrics glorifying drugs and unlimited sex. Standardized testing must be ‘culturally adjusted’ to insure equal results. Scientific data that doesn’t validate the ‘narrative’ is unfunded, unpublished or marginalized. Affirmative action, quotas, endemic black political corruption, etc. are all the new norm and therefore anyone who speaks out or notices needs reeducation.….You see, blacks can’t become civilized in the sense we know so the government and media just change the definition of ‘civilized’…Phase two of the biggest magic trick in the history of the world. Remember, never, ever notice the clear and undeniable differences between the blacks and the rest of homo sapien sapien.

  15. The modern era has seen many variations of black self rule. The earliest example is Ethiopia, which, aside from occupation by the Italians from 1936 to 1941, was never run by outsiders. The second began with the Haitian Revolution, the third was the founding of Liberia, and the 1960s saw most of black Africa achieve independence. Government by blacks of American cities such as Detroit and Newark is another form of black self-rule, as are the independent islands of the Caribbean.

The circumstances of these different efforts could not be more different; blacks have arrived at self-government by virtually every route imaginable. But the results are the same: poverty, corruption, violence.

School systems and City Halls are in no way exempt from nature's laws.

  16. Okay, okay, okay, so now that this information has come to light who do we vote for? Clinton and Freedoms group Anderson, Forte, and Graves, ir John Sharps tainted group Mims, Palmer and Osman. Ni way I'll vote for Mims or Anderson. What happened to Debbie Aiman and what about this Cliff Ragan. I've already seen that Sandy Sexton is a mudslinger. Maybe I'll vote for Hayes. NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHNG ABOUT HIM . Hey, there's my three. So done with backstabbing elections

  17. How does a culture that created so much good music like the blues, jazz, R & B and gospel degenerate to Hip Hop in one generation? How does one culture degenerate so quickly? This is the bitter fruit of sixty years of the Welfare State. Hip Hop is the death rattle of a dying pathological culture and Black culture in America is pathological

  19. Q: Why do we have these recurring problems (Plaza mobs, zoo mobs, corrupt political officeholders) among a minority of our population.

A: Because we allow it to happen. Too simple an answer? Well, it certainly would not be happening if society held individuals to a higher standard.
Children will rise or sink to the level that they are held accountable to reach. Likewise, adults will work hard, be responsible for themselves, respect others, and follow the rules, if the alternative includes severe consequences.
What do you think would happen if all government assistance for unemployment, housing, food, cellphones, and free health care, etc., were to cease? After a period of "blame and bitching" there would be a whole lot of people who would rediscover the value of hard work and determination. In order to get some emergency short-term assistance, you'd better be close to your family and faith community because Uncle Sam doesn't answer your calls anymore.
How about all political office seekers have to pass a background check? How about we actually hold political office holders to a higher standard? Instead of the KC Star endorsing the people mentioned in the posted mailer, how about they publish a candidate profile including past legal problems?

I'm calling upon ALL KC-metro residents to start speaking up, getting angry if you're not satisfied with the broken system, and start demanding accountability in your local government and taxing.

  20. We may as well tell the truth about Black fashion too.

The truth is, black folks wear the dumbest looking shit in the most ignorant way imaginable (How do you like that fuckin hat Pherell (sp?) wears?) until the white folks with IQs in the same range adopt the fashion.

    Pull your fuckin pants up.

  21. I hope you guys realize the folks who sent out the mailer are the same ones that are commenting negatively on Bonnaye and Karry. In politics, it is often picking between the lesser of two evils. If Anderson, who has single handledly torn this district apare is re-elected, that is a shame on the entire South Kansas City district. Bonnaye might not pay her bills, but Breman Anderson is a criminal and the audit named him as such. Karry Palmer was just collateral damage.

  26. If the audit had gone back 2-3 years, Mims would have looked at least as bad as Anderson. There's is no way she should be put back on the school board. She wanted to be state rep so let her do that and get out of the schools. Hickman Mills deserves school board members that can devote their full attention to the district issues; not someone who is divided between here and Jeff City.

  27. Hey, check the minutes. They say she's been ABSENT for work sessions where board members are supposed to ask questions.

  28. Do you trust Freedom, Inc. Will you?
This is not the first time for their senseless mailers on the weekend before the election. An attorney can find the source of the horrible mailers and take to the airways.

  29. Mims is an absolute idiot, I really can't believe that she was put in charge of anything, let alone a school district. All she does is rob people blind. If there is anything free she can get her hands on she takes it, and if she can steal it, she will.

Thief, and a bad one at that.

  32. It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that when candidates are accused of numerous illegal acts in anonymous mailings delivered three days before an election that the charges aren't true. The same thing was done in the Hickman Mills School Board race a year ago, and the candidates that were smeared were defeated. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

    ReplyDelete
  33. The accusations against Bonnaye Mims are true. They are a matter of public record.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It figures John Sharp is at the center of it. This year he uses his position on the city council, to cry foul when they are his candidates. Where were you last year John. You go to bat for a woman with a dirty record. Why the big push John. What did they promise you. I'm sick and tired of you too.

  35. And isn't it great that corporations like Burn and McDonnell and Black and Veatch donate $10,000 to Freedom for the water bond issue campaign that they'll be getting millions from at the same time Freedom Inc is doing everything they can to get their snouts back in the Hickman Mills trough, and all the while talking about how much those corporate bigwigs support public education.
If people like that STOPPED feeding grifters like Freedom, maybe that tired old worthless group would finally die out and some newer leadership who didn't act like it was still 1964 might emerge.
    Hypocrites, all!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well, who can say "I'm surprised." Only the truth is true. Nothing else is. At least, if folks are going to mudsling they get the facts. This is demeaning and almost childish but I too believe Mims should step down as both State Rep and School Board Member. She is too old for School Board leadership and couldn't possibly have children young enough to be in K-12. Virtually, every Black man who fathered a child is delinquent on child support. No big deal there.

    ReplyDelete
  37. John Sharp is not so sharp. He's a senile, old fool. Nothing more. He's proven that again and again. He's termed out and will likely die a few years after leaving office. The sooner the better.

  39. A computer search by the K>C>Star could have resulted in better recommendations than the ones they published for the Hickman Mills School Board. MIMS was on the school board for at least 15 years, the last six of which she was the President. She was as corrupt as they come and yet the Star recommends she and the dead beat Dad as a New start for Hickman Mills. The picture of Dan Osmond is very flattering. Have you seen him in real life. He may be clean politically but he is anything but clean in real life. Simple basic hygene should be practiced by all school board members. Why can't he and Debbie Aimen learn this?
