Newspaper confirmation: "James Tindall said Thursday he will resign his seat on the Jackson County Legislature rather than fight an attempt to oust him from office. Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker had been prepared to take took legal steps to have him removed because he had been convicted of a federal felony in 1999."
Damn.

One of the factors contributing to crime in this country is the fact the felons are given a defacto life long sentence. Making it difficult for felons to find work, makes felons more likely to turn to crime, again. If Tindall has to go, then why doesn't Brooks have to go?
