MUST READ!!! KANSAS CITY BLOG JIMMYCSAYS TAKES ON TRAGEDY @ KCPS SOUTHWEST CAMPUS!!!

Kansas City newsman Jim Fitzpatrick offers an important perspective on upcoming school board elections in light of another recent rape tragedy at Southwest.

CREDIT TO JIMMYCSAYS FOR GETTING SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE REACTION ON RECORD AS IT APPLIES TO SOUTHWEST AND THE FUTURE OF THE DISTRICT!!!

Check it:

JimmyCSays: Abject failure at a school (Southwest) and at the superintendent’s level (yes, you, Steve Green), and what needs to happen next

Money line . . .

"It’s a sorry commentary on the district and on (Superintendent) Green as the top administrator that at least one Kansas City public school — and probably a few more — still feel unsafe when you walk through the doors.

It will be up to the next school board to demand that Green insure that every school has an environment where parents don’t have to worry about their children becoming crime victims while in their school buildings."

Again, this is a MUST READ post and we can only add that it's not only visiting Southwest that might elicit fear but also living in the vicinity of the troubled school causes nearby neighborhoods to feel unsafe.

  1. I keep having a horrible thought. Is this happening at other schools and no one has been caught because girls (or boys) are too afraid to come forward?

  2. The next school board isn't going to be any more serious or competent than the last 30 of them or the next 15.
Management of any organization requires some leadership, attention to detail, clear objectives, time lines, expectations, and accountability.
KCPS is endless PR, meetings, and reacting to one crisis after another.
An unaccreditated district that can't even keep kids safe in their own buildings.
Instead they work on "the digital divide".
    Give me a break.

  3. Is Tony really a hater in KC?
He is attacking KCPS per the Star and Glazer that's the action of a troll and hater. So doea that make Jimmy C a hater troll as well?

  4. Quotes from channel 5 story on a teacher and her description of SW.

With fights breaking out nearly every day and some students who flat out refuse to follow any sort of direction, teachers say it can be a rough job.

"It can be very difficult. On a good day it's fairly chaotic. On a bad day it's basically impossible to control," this teacher said. "There's definitely been a lot of sadness, a lot of anger, it's been a very difficult week."

  5. Babysitting violent animals who are revered and part of a Protected Class can be frustrating if u continue to buy into liberal bull shit.

The KCSD is no different than thousands of other schools in deteriorating cities full of liberal sub culture idiots who think money and white guilt will bring hope and change.
