ReplyDeleteIn your opening, all of the following should be deleted as it is irrelevant….”Sometimes you have to make choices between goods, not between evil and good, and sometimes you have to do that on the fly. I had intended to go this past Sunday evening to a musical performance of the "Seven Last Words of Christ" at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in suburban Shawnee, Kan. Some of the youthful musicians had played in a worship service at my congregation the previous Sunday. But then came word of the catastrophic shootings at the Jewish Community Center and Village Shalom in Overland Park, Kan., that Sunday afternoon. Almost immediately my friends Rabbi Jacques Cukierkorn and Fr. Gar Demo organized a prayer vigil that evening and asked me to be one of the speakers.”
In your blog postings, you have a habit of repeatedly telling the reader all about your personal good deeds and intentions. Mr. Tammeus, we know you’re a generally good person, so don’t continually seek our approval and acceptance, it’s unnecessary. Carry on.
Tammeus is a prick. For years he let his blog be loaded with hate shit that makes Tony's commenters look like weakings.
ReplyDeleteSome atheist finally went to far and told Christians they would end up "in a ditch" like "Jimmy Hoffa".
Tammeus tried to let it go, but there were ugly rumours.
Suggestions of lawsuits I believe.
So he turned tail and shut down comments totally...interesting that in all those years where he allowed insults, ridicule, and even threats he never got his dander up except when someone asked about why he left the Star.
All that stuff is preserved and copied for posterity should a challenge issue forthwith.
One good thing about Tammeus, though. He bashed Catholics routinely.
