The dude that's really to blame in this week's police chase nightmare: Tyrone Murphy, Jr., of Kansas City, Kan., has been charged with first degree murder in the crash that killed 8-year-old Jasmine Rodriguez.
And Then The Meth Town Bandit: An Independence man is facing several counts of tampering with a motor vehicle and theft in connection with several vehicle break-ins, the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office said. Kevin W. Harris, 27, is facing five counts of first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and four counts of theft.
