Once again we notice that the so-called "progress" Kansas City has made in reducing the number of homicides is quickly evaporating . . .
KMBC: Kansas City Police said a person was shot to death overnight in the 4900 block of Agnes Street.
Unofficially, this is the 18th murder so far this year compared with 25 at this time last year.
