Kansas City Against The Toy Train Tonight

Chirstina Ria hotness in her undies inspires this collection of Kansas City mainstream media links . . . Mostly about the Toy Train Streetcar forum we reported on earlier . . . Check it:

KSHB: Streetcar expansion met with opposition . . .

Fox4: Some opposing increase in taxes due to Streetcar expansion . . .

KCTV5: Public voices opinions on KC streetcar expansion

We'll have more perspective on pushback later but for now even this Kansas City TV News acknowledgement of growing opposition is worth checking ...

  1. Why is propaganda so much more successful when it stirs up hatred than when it tries to stir up friendly feeling?

  2. According to former child sex slave Virginia Roberts and a class action lawsuit against convicted billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, former President Bill Clinton was present during sex parties involving up to twenty underage girls at Epstein’s secluded island in the Caribbean. That flight records show Clinton was flown on numerous occasions to the island on Epstein’s private jet.

7:15 Because people hate the idea of being taxed to over pay for this ridiculous idea of streetcars. Streetcars in KC were scrapped some 50 years ago.

Buses are more cost effective and better for people. Folks with disabilities have more options for buses coming closer to them rather than having to go to a fixed and high cost static line system.

  4. The money's already running out, every city account has been scoured and abused, and the whole fisaco has barely begun.
It's way too late to turn back or recover the millions already thrown away on consultants, planners, and engineers, but it's also way past time for an honest accounting of the estimates, details of the contracts, who has gotten all the molney, which city accounts it has come from, and a real public understanding of financially where this all has put the city.
Promises, hype, smiles, assertions, and deception can take something only so far, and the streetcar project has now reached that point with the public.
And the reality of it will not be pretty.

  6. Wow KCTV5 phoned it in.
How misinformed and behind the news could they be?

  7. How could Crispin Rea vote against selling Westport High? That is a terrible decision that hurts many kids in our community. We will not forget.

  8. This is what City Hall/downtown have such a hard time understanding.
Kansas City WAS NEVER for the streetcar.
Press release all you want, but its still a bad idea, at the wrong time, presented to the city in the stupidest possible way.

  9. The money boys are desperate to get more streetcar lines approved and under construction before the Main Street line is completed and we learn they have been lying to us all along.
