Dead Tree Media Reporting Bias And The Kansas City Star Crying Over Milton Wolf

For the record, Kansas Senate contender Milton Wolf seems like a goofball who has already destroyed his chances with social media clowning on medical snuff pix.

But that's not the point . . .

It's a shame to see Kansas City Dead Tree media use slanted reporting aimed at this easy target.

Hate to agree with this guy but he's got a point in this case:

Local Conservative KC Blogger: Star Attacks Milton Wolf for Providing Medical Care to the Elderly

There are plenty of reasons to cry foul about Milton Wolf but standard medical industrial complex smearing seems like a weak ploy that has fingerprints of Democratic Party Headquarter talking points.

As always, the goal of TKC is to find ALTERNATIVE opinion on politics and culture and in this case . . . Journalism fact checking a clear cut hit piece reminds us that so much dead tree media talk of "standards" is really just an exercise in branding for a corporation facing cutbacks, layoffs and a profit model that's rapidly evolving.

  1. I'm the biggest liberal there is, but what was Wolf supposed to do? Turn down Medicaid patients? Take Medicaid patients for no fee whatsoever? One can disagree with a system but still work within the system the best they can while trying to change it.

  4. Very Orwellian idea of what "alternative" is Tony. Not sure the "Red Star" (cuz I guess liberals are revolutionaries, now?) is super excited about Pat Roberts being reelected, as Congress has a lower approval rate than George III did in the colonies. The Tea Party candidate isn't the better alternative. Bitching about the high costs of medical care is an extremely typical tactic for people who want to limit health care and maximize profits. Thats the system we already have, they just want it harder.

The Tea Party has alternatives on things like drug laws and surveillance. This sounds like more of the same as far as health care is concerned.

  6. RED STAR HAW HAW.

Hey Kansas Citian? 1959 called. They said c'mon back.

  7. Milton Wolf's biggest problem is that his campaign consultants are from Texas. They must be idiots if they lose to the weakest incumbent U.S. Senator.

And geniuses, didn't you think someone would notice that your volunteer t-shirts were made in Honduras!?!?!

Were you so busy drinking "patriot tea" that you never vetted your own candidate?

Pat "Dead Man Walking" Roberts chould easily be defeated, but not by you rookies.

Let's hope the Democrats have a solid candidate.

  8. Bias as usual from The Star. In this case, no one cares because this guy is such a nut bag no one on any side wants him around. The only possible exception would be the Democrats who would have a ridiculously easy target to trash after the primary. Where do these Tea Party yokels come up with these clowns?
