50 Busted @ Kansas City Checkpoint

Kansas City's least favorite weekend round-up: Of the 308 vehicles stopped by the Kansas City Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, more than 50 people were cited or arrested for various reasons, according to a news release.

    Paying for anything but the streetcar is a pretty low priority, so you'd better hope the PD can keep the lights on.

  3. So this is why KC even has a police department? The most expensive part of the city budget is just killing crime by writing traffic tickets? We spend how much selecting, screening and training these people? Kansas City you are a bunch of suckers if this is what you are getting for your tax dollars. Hell, you could have the Boy Scouts doing this shit.....since you aren't going to be needing them at the convention.

    the hood. Cops have a yellow stripe as wide as the Big Muddy when it comes to working the hood.
