Mayor Sly James notes his crime-fighting activities as well and claims to have a plan.
Here is the Mayor DEFENDING CONTROVERSIAL AIM4PEACE and touting local progress.
Here's a bit of debate on the topic of crime numbers . . . Check Kansas City crime stats for yourself, last year 55% of KCMO homicides were cleared according to KCPD data.
Again, the Mayor claims of at least one instance where Aim4Peace prevented a Kansas City homicide.
Now the Mayor challenges Mr. Washington for his ideas on homicide prevention.
Finally, the Mayor offers a reference point and once again claims KCMO is making progress.

ReplyDeleteThe last public statement about public safety made by Sly was that unless he was made a strong mayor, given local control of the police, and the legislature in Jeff City tightened the guns laws, "his hands were tied".
