TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! WILL CRISPIN REA 3RD DISTRICT AT-LARGE CANDIDACY DESTROY THE KANSAS CITY BLACK/BROWN COALITION?!?!

Right now we want to feature an open question regarding an important Kansas City political alliance that's in jeopardy amid upcoming Council elections.

Check it:

A KANSAS CITY INSIDER FEARS THAT CRISPIN REA'S 3RD DISTRICT AT-LARGE CANDIDACY RISKS DESTROYING THE KANSAS CITY BLACK/BROWN COALITION CREATED BY CONGRESSMAN CLEAVER!!!

Here's the word:

"Think about this---we fought on behalf for the Black/Brown coalition (Congressman) Cleaver put together to bring harmony between the two groups. Council District lines were drawn to satisfy both groups. Now we have a "brown" trying to take a traditionally "black" seat.

There is a possibility if Rea wins that the blacks could have only ONE council seat. And the 5th at-large goes to another Hispanic!

(Pastor) Brooks will get beat badly if he ends up in the general against a good white candidate. That district is less than 60% black now. The area of the city in the Raytown School District will pound Brooks because he stuck with Circo's failed effort to raid the Raytown School District of $13,000,000 to pay for her soccer wonderland. Not to mention his long d#ck selfie!

I don't in any way mean to say Hispanics should not get one or even more seats on the Council. Just pointing out the irony of what could happen. "

To date, the Black Brown Coalition has partnered on immigration issues, redistricting and efforts @ Charter Change -- It's an influential group in local politics that could be ripped apart depending on the attitudes that impact the upcoming election.

  1. tkc, you forgot to mention that Crispin isn't a member of the coaltion so his actions shouldn't have any impact on it. Truth be told, we're waiting to see how much support he will get and other candidates.

  2. ... and exactly what has this "coalition" done for its constituents? Quick -- someone provide a list of their accomplishments.

  3. Are Patty and Dan okay with you posting non-streetcar flamebait?

    Better call your boss, T.

  4. Shut up Dave, get new eyewear.

    Vote Crispin!

  5. What exactly has Crispin accomplished for the citizens? What bold idea is he proposing other than self promotion and being brown? These things don't matter for Tony where the only qualification is be mexican. However the lack of any accomplishments should really startle most would be voters. We don't need any more empty suits.

  6. Crispin only wants to promote Crispin. That is his biggest drawback.

  7. I have never seen a Mexican wearing a bowtie. He has to be a pole smoker. Obviously he has not read the hipster manifesto.

  8. P. Biddy know diddly about KCMO. Brain freeze obviously.

Crispin is a good guy, better than most of the east side grifters.

  9. What has this do called coalition done for the black and brown folks of Kansas City? Other than getting behind a bankrupt, inept Manny C, what has this coalition done?

    ReplyDelete
  10. The screwed up the voting districts for Waldo and the 6th. I guess that's saying something. Sharp was pissed because he still doesn't qualify as black.

  11. The so-called coalition is nothing more than two very different groups with very different backgrounds, beliefs, and agendas, making believe what they have in common is that everyone else owes them something and the usual tactics of blame, excuses, and extortion can bring the bucks in the door.
Rea is an empty suit who has never accomplished much of anything and whose sole claim to fame is being a part of a failed school district. Zero business or management experience, no leadership, no ideas of public policy, governance, or city issues.
But this is supposed to be "his promotion" and all on the taxpayers' dime.
Are there any even vaguely qualified candidates?

  12. List those who have done something for their constituents.

  13. Sheeeeeesh....ANOTHER nigger in a bow tie!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yeah ! If I was you I would not endorse any Hispanic candidates Tony. It would the the end of their campaign.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Rea has already peaked. Those in the know know that the field is likely to get bigger and include much more powerful candidates.

In the end, this isn't going to be a matter of "Black vs. Brown." That racial prism is as invalid as it is insulting.

This race will not be decided by skin color, it's going to be decided by competence. When a strong, competent, and accomplished professional enters the race, they will win. Rea will lose. Period.

  16. 8:31 That will never happen. Period.
    Nobody is close to qualified.

  17. Is the slogan for city council, "if you can work, do. If you can't, run for office?

  18. If you like the Kansas City School District, you'll LOVE Crispin Rea.

"Traditionally Black" Nothing in America is traditionally Black. Nothing. Maybe now, Third District can get some real representation. Real as in unencumbered and politically controlled to take from the already downtrodden. I don't know if Crispin meets that criteria or not but it's worth a try to get relief from what we've already been subjected to. Black domination is the same as white domination no matter how you slice it. Maybe Crispin can deliver true freedom east of troost. I won't hold my breath.

  20. I have followed this story and in the comments there is this one person keeps talking about some professional guy that is going to enter the race and blow things to pieces. If its the guy from Lawrence, KS who I here spends all his time at happy hours then I think they are sadly mistaken. Takes more than a shirt and tie and fancy white man accent to be "professional." Just ask the various women he has come on to.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Fancy white Man accent still needs the white shoes to go with it!

  22. Out with the old, in with the new. Vote all the old cronies out. Get some new blood in there to tax and spend. Since when is anyone on the KC city council qualified? Oh wait - qualified to be a crook and/or pervert.

  23. Hispanics are good people. Most of them detest niggers too, so this black-brown group is so much shit. You go Crispin and show em how it's done!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Rea's just another young person who might temporarily bring some hope that he'll be different from what's come before.
But after election, it doesn't ake long before the usual suspects sit the new kid down and tell him how things are going to be.
And THAT'S how things turn out to be.

  25. If you are a voter, a bowtie on a politician is a sign you are about to get fucked.

  26. Hopefully Finley decides to enter this race.

  27. Crispy is a joke

  28. Can we not all just get along? That line sounds familiar so might point out it was from R. King after he had been assulted by a number of police officers on camera. You all will remember that. I have no problem with an hispanic being my councilman. All I ask is for him to do the right thing. But apparently, we are needing to start assigning council seats not by the character of the candidate but by his/her race. Say, didn't another King (Rev. King of the Civil Rights movement) want that to be the way we judge one and other?

  30. Ron Finley previously held this seat, but is far more qualified than the current cast of characters now running.
