OPPONENTS OF BISHOP TINDALL RECENTLY TOOK THEIR CASE TO MISSOURI SECRETARY OF STATE JASON KANDER!!! WE HAVE HIS RESPONSE HIGHLIGHTED FIRST AND ONLY ON TKC!!!

Text of the letter:
"The Secretary of State's office has been informed of a potential issue regarding qualifications of candidacy for office in Jackson County. The allegations are contained in the attached complaint, which we are forwarding for your review. This letter is a referral to your office, as the prosecuting authority in Jackson County, to take any action into this issue that your office deems appropriate. The Secretary of State's office offers any assistance necessary in furtherance of this reivew."
Jackson County insiders warn that Sec. Kander getting involved on this one would risk the "urban" vote for the youngest elected official in the nation amid his very bright future.
However, here's the guidance we've been given from top Missouri officials:
"When our office receives a complaint regarding a political office that does not file with the Secretary of State’s Office, we refer that complaint to the appropriate official—therefore, we have not done an investigation on the (Tindall) matter you emailed about. We received a complaint in the (Tindall) situation you are referring to and forwarded the complaint to the local prosecutor . . ."
Brief aside, Insiders who know about this thing contend that it all comes down to a "charter class issue" and 1st-class charters like JaxCo and STL are protected from Missouri rules about felons holding political office while mostly rural 2nd-class charters are compelled to obey election felony restrictions. Either way, critics of Bishop Tindall want this matter put to the test before local officials.
And so . . .
THE POLITICAL HOT POTATO HAS NOW BEEN PASSED AND RESPONSIBILITY ALONG WITH A DECISION ABOUT BISHOP TINDALL'S ELIGIBLITY NOW RESTS WITH JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR MEAN JEAN PETERS BAKER ACCORDING TO NONE OTHER THAN THE MISSOURI SECRETARY OF STATE'S OFFICE!!!
So, once again . . . Mean Jean is now pressed to make a decision that she has been avoiding throughout the entire length of her tenure as Jackson County prosecutor.

DeleteThe pressure to keep Tindall in place is now a solo effort as the other such problem was defeated last time. Missouri treats misdemeanors of a financial nature as felonies for election purpose and Tony's buddy has himself one of those. With him no longer working the front room, there is no reason for him to apply any pressure on the Bish's behalf.

Not only do you have to hire African American felons according to Federal Law, if you are declared in violation of that law, you will owe back pay out the fuckin ass.

the law does not allow for sub-sets of felons. The law clearly states that ANY felon cannot seek or hold office in the State of Missouri. This bullshit of 1st v 2nd class cities is Prosecutor Baker's baseless attempt to avoid a political tussle.

Ask Herschel Young if there should be despensation for Felon Tindall or Spineless Prosecutor Baker.
The denial of moral agency to African Americans is now codified into Federal and many State laws. As if costing the guy his 15+ year career wasn't bad enough, she demanded that he do 30 days of "shock time" in Jackson County jail. Of course that was an easy way to win political points at the expense of a white male.
