SHOCK!!! SHAREHOLDER STRIKES BACK AGAINST ALLEGED KANSAS CITY RULING CLASS KEMPER CLAN NEPOTISM!!!
A serious smack down effort aimed @ Kansas City's ruling class . . .
KC Biz Journal: A shareholder put forward a resolution that would require the chairman of the company to be an independent member of the board of directors. If approved, the measure would effectively remove current chairman Mariner Kemper from his position.
Money line . . .
"Although nepotism is not illegal, the proponent deems this much nepotism as distasteful, impractical, and an unsound practice," the shareholder stated in support of the resolution. "He believes an independent chairman would end these practices."
It didn't take long after the old man died for a serious test against his spawn . . . I can only wonder why it didn't take longer AND how anybody can claim to be a chairman of a Missouri bank from the luxury of a Colorado ski lodge.
