KCI advisory board: No attendance required to vote
KC Biz Journal: "When and how that recommendation will be given remains unknown. The board is set to deliberate on a decision on April 8, and all 24 members of the group will be able to participate and cast their vote on the recommendation: Renovate and keep the existing layout, or back a $1.2 billion plan to create a single-terminal airport.
Each member gets a vote regardless of how many meetings he or she attended."

ReplyDeleteThis is how you stack a board. Put people on it and tell them they only have to show up at the end to vote the way you want them to.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of the trick downtown with the streetcar voting. Only 314 mail in votes and it costs Kansas City $250 million. As long as we sit and take it, it will continue and get worse. When will Kansas tell the Mayor to cease and desist. He thinks he is above the law. He will do it his way, thank you very much.
I say he is a thug. And I won't take it anymore.
