ReplyDeletePhelps is at least consistent. He didn't compromise or pretend to be tolerant. Unlike most Christians, he wasn't a hypocrite. Most Christians, particularly evangelics are just as homophobic and anti science. They just don't say it in polite company.

ReplyDelete@1:46 Phelps is different from abortion protestors in that he attempted to disrupt funerals. Throughout history even the most ardent enemies respected the funeral rites of their foes. While I understand chivalry is dead, I am still very surprised you could not figure that one out for yourself... Then again nothing is sacred and everything is open to interpretation.
