  2. This is a tragedy waiting to happen. Someone is going to be horrificly injured or killed at the zoo. It's clear now. Same thing will happen at the Plaza. The police are completely neutered. How can we allow continued assaults against police officers and our city leaders do nothing?

  12. Sly's really big on big-time announcements, but when it comes to actually accomplishing anything, well that's all up to someone else.
The elected people in KCMO are terrified that if they talk about behavior, self-discipline, consequences, or even folks obeying the law, the usual east side "leaders" will start choruses of the same old 1960s crap, excuses, and blame. And they might even call people names.
Good grief, when the police do their jobs in the Plaza and are criticized by Jermaine Reed, none of these other cowards even has the guts to back up him and his officers.
And as more and more of these episodes take place in more and more places in the city, who do these bozos think is going to come to KCMO and spend money to use all these multi-million dollar toys?
Buying expensive wallpaper while the foundation continues to crumble.
    The clock is ticking.

  13. All a reflection of the lack of care and concern about anything other then "looking cool" by the biggest idiot who's fat ass just happens to sit in the mayors throne.

  14. Sly and Forte are ONLY in their positions to keep the blacks from going nuts in the community. So much for the theory they have any control over their people.

  15. FREE ZOO DAY on hold. Brilliant fucking idea... after the last two ended in riots and gunfire. Some forward thinking geniuses working on this. Once they solve the Negro Zoo issues, assign them to solve the Toy Train and Plaza Negro issues.

Perhaps impanel Glazer, ALonzo, Jermaine, and Crispin, Yael and Mr. Peanut and T-Maddo. Surely those brilliant minds could solve these problems within a half hour.

  20. Schulte's on it. Gee, that builds confidence. He'll hire another assistant city manager and other misc staff to figure it out.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Schulte has nothing to do with the KCPD and the zoo is supposedly run by the Friends of the Zoo board.
    So what's his contribution?
    To anything, actually?

It's impossible to prevent get serious business done by idiot lawyers moonlighting as a politician; and even harder to know when they will end up in a political position of authority.

I blame the stupid, overly social voters. Social hour is over.

  23. Isn't Schulte nlack? Let call him the N-word too!

Jeebus, do 5 of you troll this site hourly looking foe any reason to use the word "nigger"?

    I call that bent.

FYI, I wont have my feelings hurt when I get a F-bomb.

  24. The Mayor's comment about it not being the same people is absolutely untrue. It's the exact same crowd; young blacks from the urban core. Same group that infests the Plaza. Same group that had to be driven like animals away from the St. Patrick's Day parade. Black thugs who don't know how to act in a civilized manner. I can assure you the Mayor's response will be to throw taxpayer money at the problem. As for the police, we'll continue to spray, manhandle and arrest these fuckers every chance we get.

  28. Oh now its a 'tragedy'? And earlier someone called it a 'major' incident.

Looks to me like the zoo and the police didn't have sufficient manpower to handle the crowds.

Did they not anticipate so much participation?

Somebody misread and failed to prepare for the day. It wasn't a tragedy. But it COULD have been.

Did police handle things well when they DID get there? If so, what's the problem, other than that the zoo should have known better than have so few crowd control and police people ready and on scene?
