Most Kansas City School Cancelled Monday

The real lesson for Kansas City rugrats and their parents is that this cowtown is no longer prepared to run our infrastructure and proceed with normal life amid even a minor weather event.

Moreover . . .

In this digital era when schools have webpages, social media presence and all kinds of emergency alerts . . . It's a shame that they still take up so much time on local newscasts with these lists.

It's going to be below zero tomorrow and downright dangerous with the wind you brain damaged retard. You gonna send your kids out into that? You know, the kids you don't pay child support on?

  5. Hell in the Dakota's and Minnesota those kids go to school in these temps all the time.

  6. I don't ever recall school being cancelled in the 70's or 80's because of cold. Snow, yes, but cold, no. I'm betting this is more of a response to a potential lawsuit rather than actually thinking a kid is going to get frostbite in 5 minutes waiting for the bus.

  8. It's just the nanny state at work. We have become such pussies. We used to wear those hat/masks and go out and play in this weather in the 70's. Kids needs to learn how to dress functionally to deal with it.

  9. No parents have become fucking pussies and are teaching their kids to be even bigger pussies.

The funny part is it's to cold to go to school but not to cold to be outside all day sledding.

  10. All it would take is one child to miss the school bus and die from exposure. Or one school bus to slide off the road on and icy road. Better safe than sorry. Life is too precious to take that kind of chance with our children. Can't we at least protect them from that?
