KSHB: One person has died after people in two cars began shooting at each other near 13th and Virginia.
KCTV5: According to police, the incident began about 3:10 p.m. with an exchange of gunfire between both vehicles on Interstate 70 near Troost Avenue before moving south into the area of 13th Street and Lydia Avenue.
KMBC: Investigators said the occupants of one car were trying to get away from people in another vehicle who were shooting at them with an AK-47.
Unofficially, this marks KCMO homicide #15 compared with 22 at this time last year . . .
