And this is the OPEN THREAD for right now . . .
How many of those "mean anonymous commenters" are simply people presenting a competing viewpoint?
ReplyDeleteMost appear to be people who are simply saying "You are mistaken, wrong, and we do not agree with you taking our money, our property, our Rights, to further a goal that only serves to enrich you at our expense."
As has become typical of the "Feel Good Party" mantra, "We will do anything to make you look bad in the furtherance of our goals, even if what we do is dishonest."
Most "mean" counterpoints can actually be proven to be correct, using the very words of the "not mean" opposition against themselves.
Now, call me mean, but prove what I say isn't so.
This report/study most likely paid for by our tax dollars (another waste) is not for going after the real haters as all the hate I see comes from liberal posts. The commenters in other posts by Americans that want less government and taxes being spent wisely and more liberty are called "haters". The hate and anger comes from the left! But this study is more to start a control of the people by going after free speech. The reason people go anonymous is so there can be no revenge taken on them. Look at the Obama IRS, Obama EPA, Obama DOJ , Obama media and all of his other SS troops. Oh and don't forget his followers who attack people who do not agree with him. What I just wrote here this study would consider anger!! It may be that I am angry seeing our country destroyed after millions gave their lives to give us liberty but does not make it wrong nor does it make what I say false!
ReplyDeleteThe reason is:
ReplyDelete1. Our leaders won't listen
2. The inmates are running the asylum
3. Everything that used to be common sense has been overthrown
4. We are losing our liberty and our country and no one seems to give a rat's behind.
5. We do not want amnesty for illegals
6. We want the profligate leaders to stop the spending
7. We want the politicians to stop borrowing money from China to give it to nations overseas
8. We don't want Johnny to use the girls' bathroom
9. We don't care if Joe buggers Tom behind closed doors but we don't want homosexual marriage shoved down our throats.
10. In short, we want our country back and no one is listening and we are angry about it.
Anonymity allows for truth. It may be an ugly truth, but it is truth none the less.
ReplyDeleteFirst 3 posts on the money
I just like pretending I'm a badass and sometimes that I have alot of money ..oh and that I pull alot of premo ass, that's all
ReplyDeleteAnonymity is a protection that allows many people to post honest commentary without fear of unjust retaliation for those comments.
ReplyDeleteSome take it too far and some use it for dishonest purposes, but that doesn't mean it should be eliminated just because of those few whack jobs.
They conduct a "study" about something they don't like revealing that "people who conduct studies are people who manipulate evidence to support the point of view they support.
ReplyDeleteIt's called the work of fools and liars.
This is hilarious. What the internet does is give people the means to publicly express what used to just be privately expressed to oneself or others. In real life, it's called free thinking, personal thoughts and opinions. I can't help but feel but the forces behind this strange push have something to do with this phenomenon: Government-run mainstream media pushes lie after lie, and most commentators don't buy the BS.
ReplyDeleteNice comment boss
Dave,It looks as though you're trying hard to straighten your life out.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, stay the course and just remember how awful jail is.
8:07 your an asshole, he isn't in jail. You must be thinking of your lover Glazer.
ReplyDeleteReally, I think it has more to do with the fact that if you post your real name, some crazy loon will try to interfere with your business relations, employment, social life, etc., or perhaps even worse threats, harassment, violence like Glazer has been known to do and say many times.
ReplyDeleteRE: Anonymous Comments
ReplyDeleteMost things in life follow a cycle. This is a natural phenomenon. During upswings, the economy is good, social mood is generally positive, and most people are optimistic. During downswings, the opposite is true.
We are currently transitioning into a cycle of increased negative social mood. Economically, we see this as elevated unemployment, rising consumer prices, governments raising taxes, etc.
The effects can be seen permeating throughout most of society, and oftentimes will lead to the worst of outcomes, world wars.
It should be no surprise, that during this cycle of increased negative social mood, there will be an observable spike in negative commentary, including anonymous internet postings.
REAL MEN DON'T BUY GIRLS
ReplyDeleteI love the fantasies expressed that only liberals are the haters. The conspiracy theories are, of course, ridiculous. "We want our country back"? What nonsense.
ReplyDeleteNobody is hated on here more than me. It isn't the liberals calling me names & telling lies about me & mine.
I want amnesty for the Mexican refugees.
Here Byron fucking suck on this I wrote it about you asshole. It is all hate speech if you do not agree, this is a liberalistic mantra anonymity contributes to honesty without fear of reprisal and what is hate speech on the internet harms no person physically if their feelings get hurt so what! If you don’t like to blog and interact with animals don’t blog, the choice is yours get off your soap box and turn off your computer, what your doing is passive aggressive bullying, and nobody really cares
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago I wrote a letter to the KC Star regarding an issue. My name was published. I received phone calls (one liked the middle of the night), mail and a pile of dog poop was left on my lawn. For personal safety reasons I do not use my real name when posting. I do not use my real name for Facebook or the email entered where posting comments wants an e-mail address. I know I am not the only one who does this. There are many unstable people out there. KCC comment section usually has a good representation of this. Plus now it’s out they track IP addresses.
ReplyDeleteUse tor browser bundle if you want to be anonymous. Can't track it by ip
DeleteGood little campaign to sway public opinion against this little vestige of privacy. Anonymity gives people the chance to speak their mind without worrying about retribution. That's why so many organizations have had little suggestion boxes to enable people to toss in an anonymous suggestion. It's not that complicated, if you're not an overly sensitive liberal douche who thinks any kind of criticism is "bullying". Good grief, grow a pair, you whiny little biatches.

ReplyDeleteYes, your comment is hate speech. You called me an asshole. I could call you an asshole, but what would be the point? You're just an anonymous coward (see Westport Trucky's comment.)
Westport, you tried to make a difference, by being civilly active. Good for you. Your response to cowardly, anonymous attacks was to become anonymous. Understandable, but cowardly. The cowards win, when you hide behind anonymity & democracy loses. No one ever achieved anything by anonymity. You must use your real name to even attempt to make a difference. Otherwise, everyone see's your cowardice for what it is, & your voice is lost among the anonymous hordes. Use your real name & be accountable for your comments. Democracy demands this to function.
Ms. 12:06
ReplyDeleteAre you worried about retribution or accountability? Grow a pair yourself, & stop being a coward.
Fuck You Funkhouser ya fucking child and daddy molester.
ReplyDeleteStay the hell out of KC you're a pussy because you post your bully shit from thousands of miles away you fucking coward asshole. That makes you a troll you asshole. Oh and one hell of a liar.
Wasn't anyone proud of the kids in the Spelling Bee?
ReplyDeleteWestport Trucky says there are generally three types of comments on TKC. He fails to mention the ones that are censorship by steering away from issues by arguing with Byron,Bear and Chuck. Most likely a bunch of guys like Glazier who run beer joints in the city.
ReplyDeleteMs. 12:59
ReplyDeleteYou called me a child & daddy molester, & then you called me a liar? That's rich. You're a pathetic worm.
Fuck the alcohol vendors.
ReplyDeleteThe West Virginia bottom feeder forgets one important card that trumps all. Ask Tony. It's called the First Amendment, aka FREE SPEECH.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the truth hurts. Many of you call it "racism"...others see it as "calling a spade a spade". Fuck Politically Correct hipster bullshit.
