Golden Ghetto Lady Steps Up Advocacy For Kansas Education Income Redistribution

KMBZ reports a local lady on the move and confirmation that hiding from reality in the suburbs is no longer an option: "Mother of three is leaving her Merriam Home tomorrow and walking all the way to Topeka. She'll arrive on Monday. She's part of a group called 'Game on', which seeks to restore school funding. This is the second time in as many year's she's doing the walk. A new $134 million plan in the Kansas Senate to fix a funding imbalance between rich and poor school districts in Kansas would give local officials more power to raise property taxes for education and give more money to poorer districts.
