News-Leader: House Bill 1832, sponsored by Rep. John Mayfield, D-Independence, would specify that the Sunshine Law also applies to individual lawmakers. It has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee
Don't count on much political support for this effort given that the Missouri General Assembly is the proving ground for many ambitious hopefuls who may or may not be ready for prime time.

ReplyDeleteMayfield is an arrogant twit, whose gut enters the room a half minute before the rest of him. I will not be voting in April because of the low caliber of so-called democrats in the legislature. The only one with intelligence was brutally shoved/kicked out of politics about a year ago.
