A second slap on the wrist "censure" clearly didn't scare disgraced WyCo Commish Tarence Maddox who doesn't seem like he answers to anybody.

ReplyDeleteWe knew nothing was going to happen to Maddox. Once you're in and serve a purpose, you can do as you please. They ALL do as they please...spend. spend and stuff the pockets of a few people. They get re-elected for life, nice homes, credit cards, luxury travel, bailed out of legal troubles and grants for their good causes. Grants end up as salary paid to THEM.
Holland was placed in the middle chair and knows it. He said his focus is economic development. His job is to keep the city wide Ponzi scheme going strong. How much is his wife paid for working in a non-profit...$80-$100 grand a year???? AND his tax free business flowing with grant funds.
Just another day in paradise for a few people. The rest of us pay for it.
We are the sickest, poorest county in the Kansas. We pay some of the highest taxes in Kansas. We have a sheriff department sending his swat team to poor peoples homes to collect taxes while he protects the non-paying criminals at the Legends. We support TRHREE sports team, a swamp waterpark, billion dollar businesses that pay little or no taxes, free land and utilities for billionaires. Maddox is useful to keep these enterprises rolling in cash.
Why don't they audit the grant funds? Let's make our lovey and trustworthy leaders prove where the money has gone.

What do you mean they left? They're still here. Holland and Pigs have a big, big, big project in the works (still on the down low). It will save the county. It will put Wyandotte County on the map. It's the next big circus act. Hell with the downgrade, this will be to biggest of the biggest. Stay tuned.

Holland hasn't had an original thought or idea in his life. As for Ann, she has the brains to continue the family legacy of living off the public treasury for life. Ask her how many checks has she written to herself? She's not mayor because it's me me me all the time. Holland has the good sense to keep his mouth shut until he gets the order to speak.
