  1. Does anyone ever wonder why no KC seems incapable of developing any new ideas on its own? The area is full of universities and colleges with all sorts of expertise and connections throughout the country, yet whether it's about public safety, education, street maintenance, or anything else, KC always needs out-of-town experts, who sell a big-ticket program and leave town, after which nothing much very effective happens.
Could it be that KC elects and hires the wrong folks for the wrong reasons?

  2. Funny how the Al Jazerra article quotes a woman who already has one kid in a charter school. Because of the conditions in KCPS she already had to take one kid out of the district but she's fighting to keep that same district in tact? How does that even make sense?

  3. 7:10 Follow the money. You will find that most of the parents who are fighting the state takeover or dissolution of the district have already gotten jobs or contracts by way of their support of the district or have been promised something. West and Green take care of their own.

  4. Yep Jerimica Hendrix has a contract with the district for her "non profit" while sending her kids to charter schools, used to give Airwack head and is the loudest so called parent opposed to real reform.
