Kansas City is confused, disappointed and hoping for a quick fix for the new City Hall website.
To wit . . .
THE REVIEWS ARE IN AND THE NEW CITY HALL WEBSITE IS HARD TO NAVIGATE AND SUCKS @ PROVIDING INFORMATION ACCORDING TO A TKC SCIENTIFIC SAMPLE OF KANSAS CITY RESIDENTS!!!
Here's one e-mail that confirms the negative reaction to the new site:

Wow, I guess it is no coincidence that you can not find a link to the City Charter, committee agendas and ordinances from the front page. What is the key word to type into the search engine? Bottom line, if I wanted to know what was on the agenda for the Finance & Audit committee Wednesday or any other committee, where would I find it?
(TKC Quick Note: Check The City Clerk's site that's still old school and in desperate need of redevelopment.)
While we're at it. Where is the link to Channel 2 that used to be on the old site for residents to catch up on discussions in meetings that they might have missed???

These are just some of the complaint of Mayor Sly FAILING to live up to a lot of promises about the site when he debuted the new logo and so much talk about Kansas City tech progress.

KC is supposed to be becoming the innovation capital of the country and this doesn't seem like a very good start.

ReplyDeleteKC would like you to believe that they are progressive, moving forward and garner respect where ever they go and the social and news media are all to happy to play its important role of partnering with local government on what you see and hear but the reality of it all is that no matter what circle I am in when I am out of town, when I bring up Kansas City to Businesses and Government people I hear the same thing over and over again ... it usually starts with "Oh God bless you my friend" a little chuckle and then moves on to the runaway train KC has become hurdling itself into the brick wall of inept, lying, racist staff and community
ReplyDeleteMaybe the mayor decided to hire the three guys who jacked off all day in JaxCo Office of Tax Assessment for years and Mike Sanders could not figure out what was happening until the assessments were so far off that he was nearly impeached. I mean those three jack-offs had plenty of time to learn about the internet.

They really did lock up one office because it was too inseminated for anybody to work in. Disgustingly unfuckinbelievable. What a town! Even in Berkeley and Bucharest they don't have anything to equal this.

Clearly, the allegation that this activity went on for years AND the well-documented failures in the public charge of that same office reflects poorly on Mike Sanders who wants to run for statewide office.
Mike Sanders has no idea what the hell is going on here. He only thinks about the Courthouse in Independence because Ken McClain wants the Independence Square rebuilt at county expense, and McClain wants the county taxpayers to foot the bill for protecting some of his art collection. Mike Sanders belongs to Ken McClain and the taxpayers foot all the bills generated by that relationship.
