TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! FRIENDS OF KCI TOUT CITIZEN INITIATIVE PETITION COMPROMISE WITH CITY HALL!!!

TKC NOTE: Here is an important word about City Council learning to live with local Democracy . . .

FIRST ON TKC: City Hall is going to adopt the ordinance SO THERE WILL BE A VOTE if/when they really start to screw with KCI.

KCI AGREEMENT REACHED

"To All the People who helped bring the Airport Initiative Petition to finality: We are please to announce today at 3PM, the City Council will pass the ordinance with language which was drafted and approved by our group. This will keep us out of a court battle while accomplishing our objectives. The Voters of Kansas City will have a say before any new passenger terminal is built or any existing passenger terminal is torn down. (See below). We should have a more formal press release tonight, after the council meeting and vote.

  3. We heard a liberal media talking head state that she believed Michael Sam's bravery would "go down in the anals of history."

I think she may be correct, but not how she meant it!

  4. Now the same thing must happen with street cars!!

  5. Although we citizens will be voting on "A" streetcar tax and proposal, the details will be unknown. If this tax were to pass the streetcar proponents will have a blank check to do anything they want. They can put one proposal up before the vote then completely change all aspects and details of it once the money is rolling in. Voters will have no say so on how a streetcar expansion will be done.

  6. Ask Clay Chastain what the city does with vote results they don't agree with.
