SHOCK!!! PARKVILLE REP. NICK MARSHALL FILES ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT AGAINST GOV. JAY NIXON IN GAY RIGHTS TAX FIGHT!!!

STL Post-Dispatch: Rep. Nick Marshall, R-Parkville, has filed articles of impeachment in the first step toward attempting to remove Gov. Jay Nixon from office.

Deets: "The resolution cites Nixon's executive order from November, which allows same-sex couples married in other states to file joint state taxes. It says Nixon is "guilty of willful neglect of duty and misconduct in office" for ignoring the Constitutional amendment passed by Missouri voters in 2004. That defined marriage as being between a man and a woman. The articles say Nixon's order on tax filings violates the constitution."

  2. Does Rep. Marshall have any suggestions as to how gay married couples can file any other way? The state forms REQUIRE filers to follow the federal forms. Obviously he does not do his own taxes. What a doofus.

  3. Actually, he probably doesn't PAY his won taxes. After all, if you're an important state rep in Missouri you don't have to show up for meetings, can smoke weed, don't have to have a valid license or registration to drive a car, and can suck money out of your campaign accounts for personal expenses.
And then try to distract the public with stupid ideas.
    Flyover country.

  4. If they want to do something with taxes how about setting the tax rates based on how many rug rats you have rather then giving parents a big fat discount and then giving single people nine yards and making the folks without kids pay for those little bastards
