  4. The Hot Spot program has been a joke from the beginning. No one has heard of Shot Spotter since it was installed.
Aim4Peace has burned through at least $3 million with no results that anyone can point to.
NoVa is paying out large sums to yet more nonprofits trying to convince twenty-something year old thugs to trade in their gang cred for $8/hour warehouse jobs.
Sharp and his council committee wasn't paying any attention to murders until the Star called them out.
About the only thing that's curbed murders in the city is the weather.
    Which is about to change.

  7. Yeah, sure... but where is crime up at? I love these declarations about nothing. Everybody has been killed in one part of town and the cops try to take credit for crime reduction. The violent folks in the area have died off and/or moved to another part of town. That's been the system since I can remember.

  9. Don't you just love KCPD. When crime goes down it's because of a KCPD program. When crime goes up it's blamed on bad parenting. what a joke.

  10. Let the bear be the first to say "Bullshit"...I live on the East Side and crime is not down here. PD has been spending more time working accidents. Average time 4 1/2 hours on fender benders. 2 and your shift is over. Get the picture?
