ReplyDeleteMaybe if you in KCMO had a public works director that knows how to run a public works depart versus hiring someone because of their gender, then you could have decent snow removal and nicer streets. Instead, you have crappy stuff and trips to Spain. For this alone, Troy Schulte should be fired.
ReplyDeleteJust had brunch out here in gorgeous Overland Park and the streets are clean as well as almost all side streets. Ahhhhhhh for a few dollars more a year in taxes it is worth it.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I got to conduct this experiment firsthand. I had cross State Line to run an errand in MO on Saturday. The difference between the snow removal was like night and day, and of course, JoCo came out on top by far. And, on the main street I was on in KCMO, the plows had pushed the snow onto the curbs, so the already limited parking was a pain in the ass. Viva JoCo!
