ReplyDeleteLosing the Posinelli firm was probably a major blow, but high end dining establishments and flash mobs of ghetto rats are mutually exclsive. The Plaza is toast. Five to ten years it will look like the rest of downtown KCMO and any sign of elegance will be gone. The surrounding neighborhoods will follow.

ReplyDeleteA lot of people's incomes have permanently dropped in the past years. Folks may no longer be able to justify spending over $100 for dinner for two. The presence of threatening mobs may have been the last straw. And let's face it, they aren't exactly serving "health food."
