We pretty sure that this weekend in Missouri history will go down as the time when the young people throughout the state celebrated a courageous media stand and didn't stick around to see one of many people too small and slow to play in an ultra-competitive league that nearly cripples most of its participants.
Check the compilation . . .
- ESPN: Michael Sam receives ovation
- Sports Illustrated: Mizzou students support Michael Sam by forming human wall before basketball game
- LA Times: Watch Michael Sam get a hero's welcome from Missouri basketball fans
Again, I think this guy would be great in playing for The Kansas City Chiefs . . . But nothing that really matters.
Before getting on your high horses and ranting about Sam's wanting you to know all about his sex life, remember:
ReplyDelete1. He no more revealed the details of what he does in bed than any heterosexual did. He just told us he like guys.
2. If we weren't so interested in gay sex, this story would have received the major yawn it deserves. After all, why should we care what anyone does in bed?
Michael Sam sponsers The First Annual Suckin of the Kawks Open.

ReplyDeleteFew are interested in details of Michael Sam's sexual practices in the bedroom. The reason it is constantly shoved down our throats is becasue it is part of the liberal narrative and is embraced by superficial, vapid, innane twits who wanna "Up the revolution" and run with the popular kids in school.
Orginal, discerning thought, is in short supply with the Cardashian Crowd. The black NBA player who came out last year, had a girlfirend he was engaged to for 8 years who found out he was having unprotected sex at the same time she found out he was gay. Then of course, the media glossed over the lies and danger he put her in (Imagine the land world speed record she broke, getting to a doctor to see if she needed to switch from wine to HIV Cocktails.) and went straight to the usual apotheosis and elevated him to hero status for his preferences in the fucking bedroom.
He is still giving speeches and for all we know, she is still sweating bullets.
Maybe Columbia can set up bleacher seating on Main Street and he can ride on a parade float while pummeling some guy's asshole.
ReplyDeleteChuck: But if we weren't interested, the media would give it up and find another issue to pursue--maybe one that has some actual impact on people, like how our government can always find the money to pursue some military objective like Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria but finds an empty well when it comes to jobless benefits, medicaid, etc.

ReplyDeleteYour premise, that the media has no agenda, is one I dissagree with.
"The defense budget for this year is $612.4 billion. The deficit is slated to be $650 billion. Spending on Social Security is $860 billion, Medicare is $524 billion, and Medicaid is $304 billion . If you cut defense spending in half, how do you eliminate the deficit and increase spending on the latter three entitlement programs?(No,not in the sense of the ’70s psycho-babble term “sense of entitlement” but meaning that if you are legally qualified to receive the benefits they can’t be take away without due process. This spending is on autopilot,i.e.its outside the usual budgeting and appropriations process.) Because we boomers are retiring in droves,in many case earlier than expected because of the economy, specifically how do you double medicare and social security spending, expand Medicaid as part of Obamacare AND eliminate the deficit by cutting $300 billion from defense? Assuming that you trust the North Koreans, the Iranians, the Chinese, and the Russians enough to believe this is prudent!(Oh,yeah there’s the little matter of militant Islam, which the Obama administration pretends has disappeared but hasn’t.)"
Tony you asshole stop using Michael Sam and climax in the same sentence. That's an image I can do with out.
ReplyDeleteHe can climax all over me whenever he wants to. YUMMMMMMY!
ReplyDeleteThat's an image that I like.
Chuck: I don't disagree that the media have an agenda, but I think it's more to make a profit than anything else. They've determined that the public will only watch things they can understand (sex, kittens, etc.), so the public is not to be challenged. How else would one explain how incredibly dumb network news has become (especially ABC)? As for defense, it should be used for--as in defense in the case of an attack or an extreme danger. Not to remake the world as we would like to see it.
ReplyDeleteYou would think that Missouri football player Michael Sam–who is being hailed as “courageous” by the Pres, his First Ms. Thang, and his Vice Lackey–would have had the courage to tell his own father he is gay. But you would be wrong. In fact, Michael Sam Sr., the father of the NFL prospect was among the last to know. While the entire Missouri team knew (Sam told most of his friends and teammates two years ago), most NFL scouts knew, and hundreds of others knew that Michael Sam likes Barney’s Franks, his own father was told just a week ago. That ain’t courage. It’s cowardice. Even more cowardly: Michael Sam didn’t have the guts to tell his dad the news in person or even by phone. Nope, it was via text message . . . the way cowardly people send “Dear John” letters. Oh, and it was on Sam’s father’s birthday. Dear Dad: Here’s a B-day present you’re never gonna forget.
ReplyDeleteWhat is funny is that seeing the protesters one would be hard-pressed to see any African-Americans out there. Do they turn against their own when he is gay? Or is it only okay for them when in prison?
ReplyDelete10:02
ReplyDeleteWe just dissagree. Al Sharpton, a mudering by proxy hypocrite of the first order has a prime time MSNBC "News" show sponsored by the network that doctored 911 tapes in the Zimmerman case and makes no pretense of objectivity at all. They are now and have been for many many years, losing their azzes.
By the way, the interpretation of courage with relation to "Coming Out" will be when a WNBA player comes out as straight.
Chuck for the win.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting tired of this Sam guy. Maybe he and Daisy the slut from Maryville will be bff's and go away together.
Are gays feeling so insignificance that they have to advertise their sexual preferences as if it will enhance their careers? Hell I bet if Obama announce his support for rednecks fucking donkeys you'd have a thousand freakazoids coming out as donkey fuckers. Frankly the only people who give a shit are other gays and moronic liberals who see some gain in sucking up to queer nation.
ReplyDeleteI don't give a shit what some guys sexual preferences is and I really don't want to provided him a platfomn. Now the son of a bitch had better be able to put a nut on the end of a bolt without fucking it up or the only thing his gays ass is gonna feel is my boot kicking his ass out. I could give a shit less if he suffered in a society that finds his queer behaviour unacceptable.
What I really want to know is how long is normal straight America going to put up with undercover gays staring at their dicks in the men's restroom before companies and local governments start getting sued for privacy issues? It is not acceptable to live in a society where someone who is attracted to your gender can come into the restroom and start licking his lips at you. Want equity? Well get to work on iy then.
9:51, shut up Byron.
ReplyDeleteAsshole 11:33
ReplyDeleteTake off your tin foil hat. I don't make anonymous comments. Pretending that I'm gay, doesn't make it so. It just marks you as an asshole.
Your comment is why this is a big deal. Its interesting that so many people have so much to say about something they say they don't care about.
"Are gays feeling so insignificance that they have to advertise their sexual preferences as if it will enhance their careers?"
ReplyDeleteI doubt that being gay would be seen as a career enhancement move outside interior decorating. Sam says he's gay to avoid having "inquiring minds" threatening to out him at some future point. One day we'll get to the point that no one cares, but not yet.
"You would think that Missouri football player Michael Sam–who is being hailed as “courageous” by the Pres, his First Ms. Thang, and his Vice Lackey–would have had the courage to tell his own father he is gay."
Are you sure he even knew where his father is? Sam was not the result of a two-parent family. Maybe he didn't feel the need to inform a father that was a father only in the biological sense.
This weeks Byron catch phrase = tin foil hat.
ReplyDeletems. got replaced with asshole last week.
Ms. 1:19
ReplyDeleteAre you defending 11:33. He's an asshole, so I called him an asshole. You're an anonymous coward, hence Ms. 'Tin Foil Hat' is appropriate for someone who thinks he knows the unknowable.
Anon 12:32
When more & more people 'come out', it puts pressure on the politician's to change the legal discrimination against gays. What makes his case special is the football players are supposed to be an important part of the macho rape culture.
Would you consider Tony's pictures as someone shoving his heterosexuality down everyone's throat?
First of all, there are some excellent comments above from multiple readers, and I enjoy the intelligent discussion.
ReplyDeleteThe Michael Sam announcement and subsequent flurry of media praise for his "courage and bravery" brings us to the topics of propaganda, behavioral conditioning, the power of advertising, and political control of the masses via the breakdown of traditional values.
Major media resources in the United States are concentrated in just a few corporate hands. This oligopoly largely operates under the premise of a famous quote from Henry Ford ("any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black.").
Approximately 20 to 25% of all Americans can be easily induced to think a certain way by merely giving them a suggestion and pointing them in the desired direction. The majority can be manipulated in a similar manner after further conditioning. The remaining 20% are the logic & reason thinkers who remain unmoved by specious statements.
Currently, the American public remain in the midst of a "pro-homosexual" advertising blitz. The thinking man/woman might question why this is occurring at a rapid pace. Unlike the struggles which unfolded for women's equality and Black civil rights, whereby the media were oftentimes used to slow their progress, presently we find a dearth of media outlets presenting the case for tolerance while stopping short of promotion of homosexuality. What most Americans still don't realize is that President Obama is not only the first Black President, but the first homosexual President (that we know of). This is an open secret among the Chicago and Washington, D.C. beltway crowds, and not meant to be a slander against him. Since he announced his candidacy for President in 2007, the media have operated on a "don't ask/don't tell" policy.
I postulate that American children raised in a household headed by a married husband and wife, stand the best chance to achieve a stable well-adjusted life. You may wish to point to exceptions, or argue what is "stable well-adjusted", but won't be able to demonstrate another group of children who outperform these.
So, to the big question, why is homosexuality just not being tolerated (to which I have no objection) but actively embraced and promoted by our media. Does it go to a core strategy of political control of the masses? If you were to degrade/destroy the traditional family unit in this country and instead have everyone acting as an unattached individual, could you not more easily maintain control over them?
Most of us are half asleep all the time and go through life as somnambulists obeying somebody else's suggestions. Enlightenment is total awakeness.
Byron = punk bat shit crazy thief!

ReplyDeleteInteresting. I hadn't heard the rumor about Obama, but I think James Buchanan was probably the first gay president.
Agree that a two-parent heterosexual family is often best. As you say, though, there are exceptions including people who should not have been parents under any circumstances. Also, in the event of adoptable children, a single parent or a gay couple may be preferable to being in foster care forever and aging out.
change your tampon Byron, you'll feel better.
ReplyDeleteI'm Anonymous and want a date with Byron. Come on you tall "blind" stud, I've seen the chess club pictures and want more.
ReplyDeleteI own the white racist knight !
ReplyDelete5:48 & 5:50: He'll need to know which of the 50 Facebook genders you are.
ReplyDelete6:11 Ha! 50 genders? Really?
ReplyDeleteMy sweet black boi ass is ready for you Byron!!!!! Cum score a touchdown lovey!!!!
ReplyDeleteSam’s outing was meticulously orchestrated by LGBT groups, with their publicists arranging the carefully scripted speech to be carried by NYTimes and ESPN.
ReplyDeletethe trouble with drafting him ..is how do you cut him? that Kluwe punter already played the gay card, claiming he was cut because he just supports gays.
Ms. 5:50
ReplyDeleteYou 'own' me? Seems to me that you're the one who's bat shit crazy.
Only an idiot would call me a racist.
Ms. 5:48
I believe in monogamy. I am loyal to my wife.
The conspiracy theories are ridiculous. People who aren't yet free, want the same freedom that every one else enjoys. Whether, you think it should be permitted or not. Its about freedom & equality. Remember Mitt Romney attacking the gay boy at his school & cutting his hair? Do you assholes want that to happen to your children?
So suckin dicks ain't cheatin on your wife Byron ?
DeleteWhite knight meltdown
ReplyDeleteOf course I own you. I destroyed the white knight.
ReplyDelete"Sam’s outing was meticulously orchestrated by LGBT groups, with their publicists arranging the carefully scripted speech to be carried by NY Times and ESPN."
ReplyDeleteQuite possibly true, but if we weren't so intrigued by gay sex it would have been the non-event it should have been. The media serve this slop in huge money-making toughs, and we pigs can't get enough of it.
