All This Talk About Kansas City 'Digging Out' Makes TKC Feel Funny And Uncomfortable

The Kansas City headline of the moment makes me giggle:

KMBC: Kansas City slowly digs out from heavy snow, cold

Inquisitr: Kansas City Buried By Winter Storm Nika, Digging Out

KCTV5: Still digging out: Winter storm leaves behind treacherous roads

Yeah, most of the "news" today notes that the "digging out process" starts off slow and it's really hard work but after last night's pounding things have really loosened up. Be careful when pulling out because it's still really slick . . . And at this point local newsies are just bored.

UPDATE: #KChelps - I just yelled at some Puerto Rican Lady to get out of the street in broken Spanish and even worse English.

Also .  . .

- The bus is running half speed and calling it "normal"

- Most local biz seems to be back open

- I refuse to look  one more human or pet interest and the snow story published by Kansas City mainstream media.

TKC HASN'T BOTHERED TO LOOK OUTSIDE YET: HOW IS YOUR STREET DOING?!?!?

More in a bit . . .

  6. The former Burnham-Hanna-Munger Manufacturing Co. building at 323 W. Eighth St. has been transformed into what’s being called Lucas Place Lofts. The first residents of the 130-unit building are expected to begin moving in March 1.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development insured the loan for the project. Commerce Bank purchased the state historic tax credits, and Chevron USA bought the federal historic credits.
