A WEEK AFTER THE SNOW STORM AND KANSAS CITY STREETS STILL SUCK!!!

KCTV5 and yet another lingering reminder that Kansas City FAILED during the recent snow storm and we're really waiting on the warmer weather to clear streets not anything related to City Hall: Snow, ice forces some riders to stand in the street

  1. It's a dead horse. Sly says it's all good. If you want better snow removal, move! Anywhere actually.

    1. Well, not quite anywhere. It turns out Atlanta doesn't understand snow either.

  2. Sidewalks not streets. Please read the article before posting the link

  3. Atalnat doesnt because no big cities do you fucking rubes. Not even in the snow belt, much less places where snow is a relative rarity/non issue. If the suburbs want to piss away taxpayer money overfunding for events that rarely happen, fine. Move to the burbs. They could shovel my walks and clean my house and it wouldn't be worth living in the beige cultureless tract housing you morons drool over. I'd just have to drive to the city, like everyone in JoCo does, everytime I wanted to experience actual life.

Snow clearance in KC is at or above average for actual cities. How's Overland PArk for musuems, nightlife, walkable neighborhoods (or even actual neighborhoods, not "subdivisions") and well-built houses with class or character?

The advantage of being a leech is you don't have to feed yourself and can spend all your time sucking (and worrying about the 2 times a year it snows).

  4. Oh please, please write up more amazing stories about snow and snow removal. It's soooo interesting to... tony. Good god you are fucking pathetic tony. Keep up the stupidity

  5. Is it just me or does Tony link to shit that he doesn't really read. He is constantly linking to stuff and then writing a story that is barely related to what he linked to.

  6. So we're fretting over snow covered bus stops and sidewalks now? Sorry but that doesn't have anything to do with streets.

Tony, as you know we enjoy fucking with you on a regular basis. With that said, Regarding the snow removal...I watched a report on Channel 5 last night. It showed people standing in the street waiting on the bus. The bus stop shelter was covered with snow. This was on a major street in KC, almost a week after this snow. Granted it was on Troost, but you would think a black mayor would take care of one of the major streets running thru the hood. Not Sly. I think you are right Tony, Sly is a bitch to the Chamber of Commerce and the 1% of KC. Is his wife white by chance? No Sly failed miserably with his Twitter attempt to "sugar coat" KC's failure at snow removal. Pathetic. Yet the so called Mayor wants to spend "billions" on a Toy Train. Hell, if you can run a damn bus how the hell are you going to run a train during a snow storm.

Nope, this failure by Sly pushed me over the edge. I hereby throw my support to the "pimp". I am supporting Pootie Tang for Mayor.

  9. 11:41 are you just stupid or what? 9:26 was talking about TROOST. Not a lot of crackers on TROOST.

  10. Sly doesn't RUN anything; or manage anything; or have any interest in how things are done or turn out.
Sly makes ANNOUNCEMENTS, cuts ribbons, launches balloons, and gives speeches. And then he moves on to the next bright shiny exciting thing.
He's now blaming the police chief for the results of a program that he helped to select and supposedly helps to oversee.
And just wait until you see how the streetcar actually turns out and how much it ends up costing.
Sly will be on to a new downtown hotel, Republican Convention, or some other grandiose announcement by then.
    All aboard.
