WILL KANSAS CITY START 2014 WITH MORE SNOW REMOVAL FAIL?!?!

The predicted a snow tundra but so far I don't see it . . .

KSHB: Track snow plows in real time

InfoZine: Greater Kansas City Area Winter Weather Advisory, News Year's Day 01/01/2014

KMBC: Winter weather advisory issued for KC area this afternoon

Meanwhile . . .

LAST YEAR KANSAS CITY STREETS WERE A MESS EVEN AFTER A SLIGHT DUSTING . . . LET'S HOPE THE NEW YEAR BRINGS MORE SNOW REMOVAL SUCCESS RATHER THAN MAYOR SLY, COUNCIL AND THEIR EMPLOYEES SPINNING THEIR CONSTANT SCREW-UPS IN THE MEDIA!!!

We'll see . . . However, only in Kansas City is global climate change the saving grace of politicos with very few legitimate accomplishments.

  3. will Slanderella start the year with more speculative BS?

YES. There is always more and it is always worse.

  4. Great blog but it would be better without that little nigger head at the beginning. Enough's enough.

6:10 while I leave some pretty "race" comments from time to time, basically to stir the pot, your comment was way out of line. That is a baby....black, white, latino, asian, it does not matter. It's a baby. Show a minimal amount of restraint when it involves a baby.

  6. Wonder why charges haven't been filed on the arrowhead killing.

  7. 6:46 My GUESS is that the kid was in wrong car, drunk and fought back.

  8. 634.....this is the only place where anonymous, racist, cowardly comments are protected speech. So, they flock to these types of venues.

Not much in the way of faith.

  9. 7:02, I know....one can always hope on the first day of a new year though. It would be like a day without a stupid comment from Byron Funkleass. It's not gonna happen but....

    ReplyDelete
  10. 6:50 that might be true.let's say thats what happened, then why don't they come out and say it?instead, we get dead silence....

  11. Anyone seen " Byron Funkfart " posting tonight ? Someone said he was on "John TV " earlier today.

  12. It's January you pussies! It's gonna snow and the streets are gonna get slick. If you are a shitty driver, then stay the fuck off the streets and quit bitching about the streets because you drive like a jig who just car jacked an Escalade.

  13. 7:10 Waiting for tox reports? I don't know, but if they had the goods on the beaters I think they would have hooked them up. And its a cops son that was killed. It is very strange.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yes,very strange.I think it stinks.

  15. Just got home from driving from Hyde Park to Waldo. The streets are very slick. Be careful, y'all.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I was smart enough to stay home in the first fucking place asshole

  17. Fail = YES. Until the council gets wise and gets a new city manager and public works director, the streets will go to shit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It's been snowing for 5 hours now. Looking at the KCMO Snow Plow Map, not one single street has been plowed by KCMO Public Works south of the river. This is as shown by the city snow plow map here: http://maps.kcmo.org/apps/SnowPlowMap/

    Another epic fail.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ha no plowing at all in KCMO!

    ReplyDelete
  20. So sorry you have no life, 8:48.

  21. Well, I just walked out to get the paper, and there is about an inch on the sidewalks and streets.

Note to the city: Don't even bother this time. It's light, dry, fluffy stuff and very driveable on the residential streets. Concentrate on the arterials (snow routes), but don't waste fuel, equipment and man power (money) on the side streets, no matter how much the pussies north of the river and Waldo want to cry because they don't know how to drive in an inch of snow.

  22. 8:03 is absolutely correct. Why, by extrapolating his/her walking out to get his/her newspaper to the entire metropolitan area, he/she was able to determine that no further effort by the city is necessary. And how dare anyone in Waldo or north of the river expect to get any benefit from their tax dollars. Such nerve. Why, those tax dollars are there for developers, not the silly people who pay them. As Kay Barnes once said, global warming will clear the streets, now, let's talk about Briarcliff.

  23. that inch of fluffy will be a glare of ice soon

  24. Did you guys have trouble getting I cvs for tampons this morning?

I drover and the streets were treated plowed and fine. But then again I'm
Not a crying suburban pussy boy.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So you were able to drover and get your tampons?
