However, there's a perspective that's missing here . . .
TKC admired Lisa Teachman because she was one of the few Kansas City weather newsie brunettes and her sultry style contrasted nicely with the happy weather dudes and other bubbly blonde forecasting babes.
And yes, it's unfair to typecast these weather-pros but there's a reason all the ladies are hawt and weather dudes are extremely likeable . . . Lookism is alive and well in Kansas City news as stunning good looks replace old school journalists on the tube and all the trolls move to the Internets. Natch.

ReplyDeleteWeather at KMBC is fucked. Even their weather web pages is so cluttered and fucked up it is like digging through the Bible to find a verse when all you want is the damn weather. The weather thing has been a mess for months every since Busby made himself an executive and started double teaming the weather reports...a totally fucked up concept. If there is anyone at KMNBC with the management experience to straighten this clusterfuck up, and given what has taken place so far I doubt there is, she needs to fire the whole damn weather team, especially the REAL problem, and bring back the few who would not kiss ass and be bullied around by the African Ignoramus.
